Try giving a hairdresser a blunt pair of scissors
A competent hairdresser would sharpen them before cutting someone's hair.

They wouldn't feck someone's head up and then hold a press conference to blame the scissors.

@Jippy has asked me to avoid insults. So Im happy to attack the post and not the poster. As I did.

Asking if you have trouble reading was a genuine question. No less insulting than your childish tags in the forum and making up things I didnt say.
name calling isn't attacking the post though so enjoy your ban

If results and performances are the way we judge a manager, there has been no one worse than ol’ Ralf. We’re a worse team now than when he took over.

Hopefully his “consulting” is done remotely, and ETH will have enough sense to direct all correspondence to the junk mail folder.

I have only one issue with Rangnick. He knows these players dont care. Then why not play U23 in last 2 games. Whats there to lose?

Pathetic excuses

Come home to roost? Whats wrong with these silly posts. Ive said I wouldn't be surprised if we lost all our games left.
No you said something stupid like you hoped we lose every game if it meant Rangnick would point out all the problems in our club. I'll give you one of many. Rangnick.

The u23s self esteem? They could easily get hammered 8 or 9-0 against a prem side.

Hoping to see 2 or 3 in the final day of the season.

Are you trying to get me banned?
You name tagged me for a random reason, replied to my post with laughing smileys and tried to bait me into a furious reply when I asked whats funny by saying "you".

After I was told not to insult the poster, I called the post daft. Again, try properly to read the previous post, I didnt call you names.

The players are bad, no doubt but ragnik is not a good coach by the looks of it. He makes delusional decisions and utterly silly changes at times.

Which bit are most people wrong about? Do you mean the players will be proved to be good or RR proved to be bad?
Half these players are clearly better than this. How do I know? Because I've seen it either in a Utd shirt or for other teams. Soe arent good enough, but the biggest failing right now in this team is the manager. Ragnick has been a trainwreck. If ETH gets a tune out of some of these players (which I think he can easily do) some people will have to accept that Ralf is completely shite.

If ETH comes in and gets these players playing coherent football next season, will most of you accept you got it wrong?
I‘ve thought Rangnick wasn’t up to the job for a long time, but if ten Hag gets these same group of players playing well for a significant period beyond new manager bounce, I will be delighted.

I actually fear for ten Hag. I really hope you quote this post this time next year and say, “What were you worried about, Loon?”

It will honestly put a massive smile on my old “I lived through Sexton” face.

He is not a good man manager. That was clear since the first game.

What baffles me is we still no where near having any cohesion. The team always look like 11 strangers playing on the field.

At this stage you cant really complain if I question your ability to read posts. I said after the warning, I did not indulge in any insult.

Now lets be adults shall we?

I said Id take us losing every game if it meant our problems were surfaced and fixed rather than patched up with nonsensical moves of players not fitting the puzzle, like its been for 10 years.

Thats got feck all to do with Rangnick by the way. I thought this if we had Fonseca, Favre or any other of the candidates at the time.

The bit that was hyperbole was losing *every* game as that would get us relegated. But my point was I was happy to have short term pain of no Europe for long term gain of a proper rebuild under the next permanent manager.

And yes I'm talking to you

(not you @DSG)
Got it @charlenefan

I’ve been one of Ralf’s most vocal critics on this thread and the Caf. I want to go on record and state that I was actually excited when he was appointed, and I thought we had a chance to turn things around. By mid/late January, it was clear Ralf wasn’t up to the task.

He’s been truly awful, and in fairness to him, it wasn’t a great situation to begin with.

My olive branch out to those I argued with over this exhausting thread is that many of you are right that the players have been really terrible. I don’t disagree with that.

If we win our final match, it will be our worst point total since the 90/91 season in the old First Division when we placed 6th with 60 points.

Really, it’s over, both the Ralf argument and the season. Hoping for positivity regarding Ten Hag and next season. Let’s get some good players in, change the mentality and improve next season. That’s all any of us should want.

@charlenefan vs @VP89 in a ''Hell in a Cell'' match. Rangnick to referee.

Jokes aside I'm, not surprised fans are massively frustrated. This season was a piss in the face of every single supporter from the club.

There is a good reason that no other top club appointed RR as a manager or even the so called "consultant".

If he is forced to use the likes of Maguire, Telles, Lindelöf, Dalot, McT etc, he is going to habe the same trajectory as all our recent managers. These players are not good enough.
These players managed to finish 2nd and make a European final less than 12 months ago. They are more than good enough to not get completely dominated by mid table teams week after week, never mind against the actual top clubs.

2 on 1 handicap match hardly seems fair. Can I bring Ole?

What annoys me is instead of being collectively pissed off at a result, we have silly posts just tagging other people before the match is done, as though getting cheap points in arguments is more important than the game or the club itself.

I can't reply to everyone, sorry.

I'm not saying our previous managers were good enough, far from it. They accumulated this squad of blood-sucking parasites over several years of God-awful recruitment. So why are you looking to make Rangnick accountable for his predecessor's mistakes? He was never meant to manage this side. He only did so because Ten Hag was unavailable at the time, and the board wasn't interested in Conte.

This side underperformed all season long for Ole, and now they're performing the exact same way for Rangnick. They gave him 30 minutes against Palace before giving up. Ask yourself, what were you expecting from Rangnick?

We all know the biggest Ralf cult followers in this thread is you and foxbatt. It’s ok. Everyone has their opinion. We should agree to disagree no matter how ridiculous one think the other’s logic and thinking is. At the same time, you should also understand why people single you out, because they would eagerly want to know what’s your current opinion. That’s my understanding.

They played like this as soon as they got tired of Mourinho and once Ole tried having them play more progressively.
The main difference is that Rangnick didn't cuddle them and they downed tools almost instantly.

  • If I get shot, I’m in bad shape, I’m dying
  • I get rushed to hospital and my condition worsens
  • Doctors can’t do anything to stop the bleeding so I get sent up to surgery
  • The surgeons can’t do anything and I die
So in this situation does my next of kin blame the doctors and the surgeons, or the cnut who shot me in the first place?

Cuddled them so much they complained he didn't do enough training sessions and gave them too many days off. Seems to me there has been nothing of substance for the players to actually buy into for those of them who do actually have any interest.

Some of them aren’t good enough, Lindelof and Maguire are good enough. McTominay, Elanga, Rashford, current Martial, Telles are all big problems. But like any manager, Eric will be expected to get something out of the talented players. Players like Maguire, Varane, Sancho, Bruno, hell even Ronaldo can show so much more with the right team around them.

But the damage had been done before Rangnick showed up. Yes he failed as saving the season, but when he came in the club was in free fall. He slightly slowed the fall initially but then he couldn’t resist the fall.

Rangnick cult follower? You're being a bit over the top. I have on many occasions said he is very unproven at top level but the bigger problem at hand is the toxic dressing room and lack of will from players exiting and those generally of lower quality.

This isnt some cult statement, I thought this before he was even linked to us.

And they where forced not to train? Beckham did extra training. Not because Ferguson forced him. But because he had a hunger to be better.
These guys simply dont care about the club, the fans or their own performance. And any time they get criticized they blame the managers or cop their ears.
