According to recent reports, the scousers are planning to invoke the spirits of past greats Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley and Gerrard Houlier to put a deadly curse on the City team.

I ain't afraid of no ghost, for sure, but the prospect of seeing the ghostly visage of Roy Evans in full-kit terrifies me to my very core.
I’ve spoken to Colin Bell via Ouija board and he’s assured me this will not happen.

The beach ball might be a bit much?

We aim to stop them from winning the league, not give them sleepless nights for the rest of their lives.
The beach ball summed us up for 25 years. That was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Funny now though.

They all count the same. But if you want to split it to make it a softer blow I get it.:D
You lot still pissed from celebrating the Fa cup. I wrote Utd are the only team to win the PL and CL in the same season.
No team has done that. Fact !

Let’s see if Klopp can change that. The greatest team the world has ever seen need to win more than 1 title. Otherwise Leicester fans might be gate crashing the talk!

I doubt we can get there this season as our new rivals have assembled the consensus most dominant team the league has seen in decades. Thank god your new main rivals West Ham threw us a lifeline though. It’s up to Villa now.

I would be seriously concerned about Nottingham Forest finishing 4th next season and then winning the CL the season after to finally match your 3.

Anything anti-Dipper
What are the odds on Gerrard winning the Dippers the league with a 99th minute penalty against City? Honestly got to be worth a punt.

Gerrard could help send Everton down and give Liverpool the league in the span of 4 days. I wonder how he approaches the Burnley match

How about Coutinho scoring a last minute equalizer and then being invited to the bus ride during the parade along with Gerrard?

Every scouser in this is doing something so memorable.
There would be even more going on if I had any idea how to edit a gif.

Take 'disappearing hat trick' guy, for example, he would have a beachball in place of his hat right now if my talent for creating gifs was anything like my talent for masturbating hands-free :keano:

We didn’t win the CL with Houllier but any combo with the CL is nothing to be sneezed at. Someday maybe you will find out how big the CL is.
I was saying that bcs some United fans here were wishing Liverpool had only won the Carabao Cup (a Mickey Mouse cup) and now that Liverpool won the FA Cup they now can say Liverpool has a 'Mickey Mouse cup double'... I think City will simply trash Aston Villa and don't expect any miracles, nor do I think Liverpool will beat Madrid simply because I've never seen Madrid lose an European final in my life (save that loss in 2018 vs Atletico but that 'final' was the SuperCup).

When United were the powerhouse, they lost many PL titles by a friggin point, but they never surrendered and ended up winning 13 PL like the big club they are. Liverpool has like a 5% winning chance in my opinion but if I were a United fan I would wish to have that 5% chances of winning a PL again. If Klopp is determined to make history, whatever happens on Sunday (assuming he wins tomorrow), he must remind his team that they can still achieve glory.

I expect Man City to drop points again. If Liverpool can keep things under control, as they usually do, the trophy will be theirs.

Have faith. The last team to beat Real Madrid in the final is playing them in the final.

Well, 2 of the trophies won were won without them having to score a single goal in the final.

We won the league the year before and successfully defended it, then won it again a year later. Point being, we were clearly the best team in the league and didn’t have to rely on favourable refs and poor VAR interpretation.

Our CL win was a proper CL run. They played Inter, Benfica and Villareal.

But obviously people will market this as the best thing that’s ever happened.
No, you didn't. You were the best team, hands down, but Arsenal won the year before and lost by a point in your treble season, so it was pretty close.

We've had some luck along the way this year, but we can't win the league with 79 points. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but we're not that lucky. We have to overcome the relentless machine that is City.

I'd say, that no matter what happens, your '99 team is legendary. You did it first. For me, that was Fergusons best team, and probably the best english club side ever. But winning trophies is a matter of results. Style, luck, looks, refs, are all debatable. Results aren't. So adding the League Cup to your treble would top it. Just the way it is.

favourable Refs? Utd have won nothing since Howard Webb retired and Mark Clattenburg openly reported that referees favoured Utd.

I have no idea either, yet.

The first division and the Premier League are the same thing. It's an arbitrary line drawn by marketing men and children.

3 games left. 3 games to greatness, whether it's a minor treble or the quad. Two trophies already won so this season is already a success. Just the boon we needed after that horrendous injury ridden season we had.

One more push.

You can word it how you want. End of day, if Liverpool don’t win the PL or CL, this season will be a failure.

The FA cup and what ever the other one is called is not what elite managers are brought in for.

Wenger won the FA cup 3 times in a row and the fans wanted him out.

Normally im the first to give Liverpool stick.

But that is harsh, 2 trophies, second and UCL runners up is a good season.

Klopp has won the FA Cup, League Cup, PL, CL, World Cup for clubs and the UEFA Super Cup during his time for Liverpool, a feat only previously achieved by SAF. So yes, that's exactly what he was brought in for.

"Only" winning the FA Cup and League Cup after being in the position we are currently in, might indeed feel like a disappointment right after the season but in no way is winning two cups to be considered as a failure. The league was always a long shot, and the CL final is literally a coin toss at this point.

Be more pissed that the best Liverpool team in a generation looks like it may only get a single league title because of a financially doped up club keeping them at bay.

Works for us United fans, but would always irk me if we were being gatekeeped from the league due to some plastic behemoth.

I'm fully expecting Pep to bottle this
It's more that I expect Villa to do extremely well at Etihad. Gerrard will be super motivated to get them going and I expect them to rest most of their team vs Burnley on Thursday so they can be prepared for City.

Imagine that? The toffees will be agitated to the nth degree if Stevie Me rests his assets against a Burnley side battling Everton and Leeds for relegation......just so he could put out his best eleven against City.

Not to mention the piss boiling out of Pep.....that would be comedy gold, and a steward's enquiry would most certainly follow!

Wish I had something else to focus on during these dismal times :(

Would be some bottle job from City if they manage to bottle the league here. Aston Villa at home? I’d be surprised if they aren’t out of sight at half time to be honest.

Has the PL title ever changed hands on the final day? I don’t think it has.

The Mourinho of 2018 still enjoyed some pedigree and respect but after leaving United it all fell down. Mourinho despised the Europa League and said he would never train teams like Malaga and now is able to cry with joy to be able to win the Conference with Roma

What about United? Considering it’s almost 5 years of no trophies maybe winning the Carabao would look like success.

You'd be okay with winning only one league title in almost a decade of football under Klopp?
