How are those saying it’s not a pen, justifying that? I’ve seen it again now and there’s clear contact between defender and attacker?
Before he initiates his dive? Not sure about that. Honestly if he just tried to actually continue his play then he'd have got it.

I don't think it's a penalty at all. It appears the forum is split 50/50 even when looking at it multiple times. VAR has done its job here as it's not a clear and obvious error.
Exactly

You could say Moss made a mistake, but I don't think he did. No doubt in my mind he was looking for that penalty and the contact didn't match the way the player went down

Almost certain he would have changed his mind if he went over to see the replay for himself. Shit decision.

If he hadn't tried to skip the tackle it would have been a clear pen. He tried to avoid the tackle, and by doing lost the decision I think.

I know the Championship is 'tougher' than the Prem, but if those are on players called Salah or Mane, I have to think those are penalties.

It certainly would be. And for Bruno or Ronaldo, too.

As a fan though I'd rather not every collision with minimal contact was given as a pen. Especially when a player goes looking for it instead of just playing on

Even the defender knew, he is lucky.
