Some sour grumpy bastards all over. Doubt the fan base will ever be happy again even if we were to win the UCL and Prem they'd all get bored within 5 mins and start moaning.

Will always have time and love for him. Didn’t go how I wanted but he’s a talented player. All the best to him. Sad to see a Carrington graduate leave, but it is what it is.

Moving forward, United fans need to get rid of these all conquering expectations and “build a team around” nonsense that they put on some players. We just need a team full of quality all around. You know, like other elite clubs have.

One of your most successful post-Fergie signings for what he did on the pitch. Hope he goes and finds another midfield with Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio around him, or Kanye and Matuidi.

As if Pogba needed to do more dancing.

Our youth player bit us on the backside twice

Merci Paul

I'm just glad the 200m quid investment (wages/fee, who knows maybe more than that) makes the Glazers look like mugs and they can thank Woodward for that.

KDB would struggle to play with McTominay, Fred and Pereira.

Will never understand the "off-the field antics" his critics go on about. The guy doesn't drink and was never involved in scandal.

We wasted a supreme talent but this is the best for all parties. Time for us as fans and the media to find another scapegoat.

Good player and by all accounts a really nice guy to be around. Would have had more time for him if it weren't for all the noise his camp created off the pitch.

I highly doubt that since we got enough enjoyment out of City winning the title a couple of weeks ago.

Let’s see. Elite teams have quality all around but they all have a talisman. Benzema, Mbappe, Salah, etc. for their respective teams. Pogba wanted to be the main man but neither had the mental fortitude or the work ethic to be one. He had his moments, sure, but literally could count them on one hand. Authorised his agent to embarrass the club. Good riddance.

Where does that comes from, Pogba wanting to be the main man?

He did play some incredible football here. At his best he is one of the best passers of the ball I've ever seen and has a nearly flawless first touch.

Lovely to watch at time so sure all the best. Wish we had seen that level more mind.

I’m glad he had a shot on goal which was deflected into the net against Ajax. Oh and I’m glad he got a header on target in the derby so City didn’t win the league until the week after instead. Other than that....

Thank you for that hat trick vs City and all the rare good moments.
Only in an alternate reality did he score a hat trick vs City.

(it was 2 goals bro)

Not many players have the nerve to slip into semi-retirement in the Premier League, while entering peak years.

Respect.

Yeah, basically this.

Pogba’s credit for the whole City comeback thing pisses me off anyway. We only needed to come back from behind in that match because they ran rings around us in the first half. Thanks in no small part to a typically shambolic individual performance from none other than Paul Pogba.

The thing with that City game is that wasn't he rumoured to have been offered to City in the weeks leading up to it? It was all a bit bizarre really, and shows that even at his best everything surrounding Pogba was always a circus.

You are suggesting he never wanted the limelight and the attention? My point is he vastly underperformed and was not worth all the latitude the club gave him. Rocking the boat every 6 months bashing eyelashes at suitors, never saying outright he committed fully to the club, as I said can count on one hand performances worthy of his price tag and salary. If you are suggesting despite all of the this we still need to thank or appreciate his time here, then we will just have to disagree.

That's different to what you said tbh.

I asked you a question, I made no suggestion. Now from the little I know about Pogba, he has always been more comfortable when he wasn't the main man, I remember him being easily frustrated with France when he was the main man and considerably more relaxed and happy when he wasn't.

Now thinking a bit more about your previous post and the one I'm quoting, I suspect that you are mixing Pogba being flamboyant with him wanting to be the main man which aren't the same thing.
