Nah you’re reaching. I’ll give you 4. Not bad though although quite interesting you could do with a new CB and CF yet we’ve got Tomori and Tammy on the pitch for England with both having left the club.
Hindsight is 20/20, the centre back situation was a total unknown (all down to us not being able to negotiate contracts with Rudi or Christensen due to sanctions) and just because Lukaku has been shit, I'm not convinced Tammy is the answer (despite me wishing he was).

Guehi too I guess. Quite frustrating I imagine. Did Tomori make a few bloopers when he came in under Frank? I can’t recall.

Quite the development, considering he only played twice for the youth teams.

Italy's starting XI against England.. I'd say it's pretty much our B-team except for Gatti, Di Marco and Pessina who are our 4th choices in those positions (Bonucci, Mancini, Toloi/ Spinazzola, Emerson, Biraghi and Chiesa/Berardi/Politano are over them) and Donnarumma of course who's the best italian GK right now
How is Locatelli still considered behind Jorginho in the hierarchy? Or who’s your preferred option for third midfielder after Verratti and Barella?

A couple of mistakes but no more than our other defenders in 2019/20 he's "only" 6ft and got beaten in the air a couple of times.

We had Zouma, Rudiger, Christensen, Tomori, Azpi and Silva going into the 2020/21 season and realistically Tomori was going to be 6th choice out of 6.

We'll buy him back in a year or so though, no biggie!

Götze went on to score the WC winning goal. Something to look forward to for Musiala.
Imagine just how often @duffer would get to remind people that Chelsea lost him for €200k had him in their academy.

Well to be fair he might even be behind Cristante who played regista/DM the previous two UNL games so in Mancini's eyes it's probably 1.Jorginho 2.Cristante 3.Locatelli

But personally I don't like Cristante, he's not good enough as regista so I hope the U23 trio Frattesi/Locatelli/Tonali are our B-team and the ones to replace Jorginho-Verratti-Barella

'tis a silly place
The Italian players absolutely nailed their anthem. England players looked embarrassed and most of them reading the words from the big screen. Italy win the UEFA Anthems League.

Nothing weird about it. I'm not saying it's his fault, I'm saying he's shite against proper defenders. As was proven in that final where he was nowhere to be seen.
Proven to be shite against "proper" defenders is a weird take, yes. Given he's scored against the top sides in the Premier League consistently over a number of years.

A player being kept quiet by top defenders doesn't make that player shit against top defenders. It means the defenders won that battle. It happens. That's why they're top defenders.

Interesting to see Scamacca he was somebody all the stat scouts were raving about. He could be a good option as a 9 for us.

Jonas Hofmann still hasn't extended his contract. Probably the best career decision of his life.
