I think if we get him, Sancho will be used centrally.
People are massively underestimating the importance of Rashford next season, and him having a good season is absolutely crucial to us having a good season, as he’s the only senior wide player who can be relied upon for both output and also having rapid speed to stretch opponents.
Rashford in any sort of decent form has to be a lock on the left for me. I think that causes Sancho to put pressure on Bruno, as well as competing with Antony on the right if signed.
Realistically I think it'll just be a rotation between the front 4. Ronaldo, Rashford, Sancho, Bruno, Antony. Plenty of games to go around, form and fitness playing a part. Also add in some of the younger guys, or Van de Beek who will rotate in that 10 spot. In terms of pace specifically, I don't see it as being some necessity. Sancho and Antony out wide is a faster duo than Tadić and Antony which he always used at Ajax, Ronaldo up top instead of Haller... Of course, Rashford back firing is pushing a starting spot regardless, but if he gets them all firing again, then it'll be a rotation dependent on form/fitness/opponents I'm sure, which is very healthy. Martial will realistically rotate in as well, as we won't sell him if we can't buy someone to be that spot. But it's a good blend to have a group who can all play in more than 1 position in the front 4, and all who have a very high level if they hit form.
