This thread is basically 95% about Sane, Werner and Southgate being shit right now.

Oh dear. Kalvin Phillips has been shocking defensively for the two goals.

Bookies will have to rethink the favs. I can only hope the players just want a break and can't be arsed and will turn it on later on once into the new season

This must be worse than Brazil's 7-1, at least they didn't concede to Werner.

Will the fa have second thoughts of moving southgate on with these results and the nation's opinion on him turning for the worse or is bulletproof based on what he has done the euro's?

It's so frustrating to see that he's getting so much game time. Does Flick expect him to suddenly turn it around when everything is on the line at the WC? He wasn't even a particular good big game player while things were going well for him at Leipzig..
nice goal, but he couldn't fudge this one up. Today its even worse than its usually. He had so much time multiple times and just couldn't decide what to do.

Its not like Havertz is great, so I understand why he still get minutes. Maybe its time to give Adeyemi an opportunity, but he is also not a traditional cf.

Genuinely cannot stomach watching England under Southgate.
It's got to the point where I'm hoping the next Italy and Germany games go so badly the FA's hands are forced before the world cup.

Southgate incharge this summer and there's a serious Ole vs Liverpool esque humilation on the cards I fear.

Apparently the United English players aren't good enough and the Mounts and Bellinghams and Grealish's of the world would transform England into prime Spain.

England look much better defensively with Maguire as their main centre back.

I am saying it as it is. Shaw, Maguire, Rashford and Sancho are missed for England. They need them to play better.

Havertz at least gives me the impression that he has the skillset to lead the line, he's just turned 23 and he's not necessarily a bottler. I'd start him over Werner every time.

Would this count as relegation number 5 for Maguire?
