Hopefully it's true, he was very good back up keeper.

Decent no 2, as long as his wage demands are not too much would be a good signing.

I'd like him back. Then we'll be back up to 2 players who started when we won our last trophy.

Seriously though, I like him and he's a good backup. No interest in that Watford goalkeeper.

I don’t understand why Ole pushed him out to begin with, he was a solid backup keeper.

But I thought we were the worst club in the world for how we ‘treated him’ ?

I thought he was treated very shabbily by the Club in his final year, surprised he doesn't hold a grudge, but I suppose that was under the Woodworm regime..

Would be a smart move. Never let us down once as backup keeper.

So he can throw a strop again and refuse to show up for training? No thanks.

Most overrated player I’ve ever seen, relegation crap is where he belongs.

When did he refuse to train? Not saying it didn’t happen but I can’t recall it.
Can’t say he was treated flawlessly by the club tbh.

Thought he was comfortably the best backup we’ve had, better than some no.1 keepers we’ve had too, he was excellent, not sure what makes him overrated.
Such a cool and calm keeper, I liked him.

I always loved watching him play because he played better than De Gea, for example in the Europa League.

He didn't want to be third choice. Fair play, and yet we blocked his move at the time.

I don't know why he would want to come back.

Would take him back as 2nd/3rd choice but didn’t he leave in the 1st place due to wanting to be 1st choice?

What's new on keeper front anyway, is Henderson going to Forest and what about Benchman?

Yeah I've no idea why he's so overrated on here. His knees are in bits and have been for years. He looks ok in the Europa against poor opposition but the few times he played in the PL, he's let in goals a half-decent keeper saves as far as I recall.

I don't think there's anything in this anyway as the story says he'd want to come back but we've not registered any interest.

ETH probably knows a good deal about him when he was assistant manager at Twente and PSV, as Romero played for AZ Alkmaar.

And to be honest, has he ever let us down that much? He was the keeper in our successful Europa League run.
