If the FDJ Muppet train has a million passengers, I'm one of them.
If the FDJ Muppet train has ten passengers, I'm one of them.
If the FDJ Muppet train has one passenger, that passenger is me.
If the FDJ Muppet train has zero passengers, then I am no longer alive.
If the world is against the FDJ Muppet train, then I am against the world.

Till my last breath, I will ride the FDJ Muppet train.

Yeah or pinned posts so we don't have to keep repeating stuff over and over haha. Then again people probably wouldn't read them anyway
Genuine suggestion - thread marks for key info- so you can easily link to important points in the saga without wading through all the obscure spurs players of the past and gta San Andreas chat etc. If you’d actually want to miss that gold.

This all reminds me when I play with my wee son on a wooden train in our park. So he's a driver and asks me where do you want to go and I'm like to the jungle, to woods, to seaside, to the land of chocolate.

Well if he asked me right now I'd say to the Muppetdom!!!

I like your suggestion... but how could anyone not want to read the top class banter in this thread! I mean, this is what it's all about, enjoying the saga and joining in on the speculation. This is muppeting at its finest and I'm honoured to be a part of it

I agree, but at least this way we wouldnt have to debunk the ‘Frenkie doesn’t want to come’ myth for example, every 3 posts, we could just point at the thread mark. Might actually mean more posts free for banter!

You suggested they are activating levers to keep him. They don’t want him. They can’t keep his wage.

He either reduces his contract (he won’t) or the club pays him (they might with the extra money) and he leaves.
Those are not the 2 options. There is a third option where he stays on the current contract? Why? Because he has a contract.

That is very true.

Saying that people Will always believe what they want to believe won't they? Even if it is a very dodgy sport tweet haha.

It’s amazing they create headlines from anything. When you read the article you see he’s been urged by the football guru, none other than Agbonlahor! And they also quote Sport from Spain.
Quoting Gabby Agbonlahor has to be the lowest bar possible eh? Few things make me change the channel quicker than the sound of his voice!

I don’t see how after all this Barca allow him to stay on his huge wage. Would be such a huge climb down that the pressure change might make Laporta’s head explode!
I'm not sure if this lever changes anything, but I believe that he could stay on his current contract, but it would mean de Jong is the highest earner in the squad, and that wouldn't sit well with a few guys. Plus they want to add others such as Silva and Kounde so getting rid of de Jong makes perfect economic sense to them.

I somehow keep ending up back in here with no memory of clicking on the thread. What's happening? Help me.
