No it's not. What Overmars did was stupid and very unprofessional. However, Ajax completely overreacted in firing him. That was all down to a big scandal surrounding sexual herrassment at the The Voice of Holland show, which got huge media attention the weeks before. If the world wouldn't be in a woke-mob stranglehold he wouldn't have been fired.

Sorry, but what an absolute load of bullocks. I happened to have read the article in the NRC, and women spoke about a culture of harassment and intimidation for years and the club did absolutely nothing. Not something you can dismiss as 'no criminal investigations are opened'. I sincerely hope United holds a higher standard in who can work for us than whether or not they have been prosecuted in court for sexual harassment. Overmars seems like the type of bloke you want to keep far away from any board room if you want a normal club culture.

However you very much do fire someone for sending unsolicited sexually explicit texts to his subordinates. That's not being woke, that's being professional. Sending sexual texts isn't a criminal offence for the most part, but pretty much every company in the world would fire someone for that.
