How have you figured that one out? Our revenue streams are far higher, we have a far bigger fanbase and we own our stadium. Proper investment, competent decision makers and the fanbase together behind the owners and the growth potential is huge.
A little hyperbole I think (from me)
Our playing squad needs £500m invested. Our stadium is a liability, not an asset, our fan base is shrinking, not growing.

Potential is massive. Issue is they aren’t interested in selling for anything other than a hugely inflated fee. Chelsea are spending over 300m on the squad this summer and are still miles off city so they needed huge investment on top of that fee themselves.

The model the Glazer are using is not the worst if they had somewhat different approach around fans, media and probably employees. Economically they have done a very good job. Sports wise they should have done what they are doing now right after Ferguson left. They got away with it with him.
I like your ideal owner, especially if that owner can be long term and wants growth. My ideal owner would probably be less rich and more hungry on both economic growth as well as the sporting side.

There were over 100 offers for Chelsea , I think we’d get similar numbers perhaps a little less considering location and similar valuation of 2-3 Bln considering recent events. In the world economy it’s not tht much when you have the likes of Microsoft paying 70bln for call of duty.
