not much to learn from the FDJ experience. Barca are a pain to deal with because their situation is complicated, and clearly no one was shutting the door on a deal so we persisted.
I think our bigger issue seems to be identifying targets we should sign, rather than actually signing people. We often target the wrong players, or are too slow to recognize good transfers so we’re constantly losing out.
