What do you think it is. I suspect he is going to challenge ten Hag to a duel. Shirtless of course.

Well it will be different depending on whether he moves. If he stays it will be that he never wanted to leave. If he leaves he will say we tried to keep him and made it hard for him to leave.

Do you think there’s any chance he retires after the World Cup?

I didn’t think there was any chance of him doing so as he has always said he wants to carry on for as long as possible but the lack of interest from Europe’s elite will have been a real dent to his ego and I’m not sure he would want to see out his career dropping down a level in Europe unless he went to Sporting. Even MLS may be out of the question for him.

Given that he has no other options, it will be a rallying cry to stay at United.

I thought he expected to find a new club, then share something juicy about United.
Will be interesting to see what he says now.

I would guess that if he stays he'll argue that the stories about him wanting to leave were a media invention. Hoping that people ignore the fact that they obviously aren't and that he deliberately held off on dispelling those stories until after the transfer window closed. Cue Homelander-style reaction when his more cultish fans lap it up.

Because I find it hard to imagine that he'll publicly slam the club once he accepts that he's stuck here for another season.

If he did leave, god only knows what he'd say.

There’s a reason he didn’t say what he’s going to say two weeks ago

The +1 year option that he’s got in his contract, is that for the player, club or both?

There’s only a lack of interest due to his astronomical wages! Juve couldn’t believe their luck when we took him last summer! There would be plenty of clubs in for him if his wages were now more realistic for his abilities!

Let's not pretend it's still happening so we can pretend to be shocked when it doesn't.

Let's not do this.

Piers Morgan has wormed his way into an exclusive scoop. Homelander speaks.

The assumption would surely be that he/his team have drafted a response both ways — one if he actually finds a club to take him, and one if he ends up having to stay a year.

The latter seems more likely, so anticipate stuff saying like “I wasn’t interested in club X, Y, Z, I wasn’t really on strike at any point, Mendes wasn’t talking to every CL club under the sun etc…”. If he ends up leaving to somewhere which seems super unlikely, it will probably be something like “I was only interested in this club and this club alone”

In the growing unlikeliness that we did let him leave, surely we'd put some sort of gagging order in there anyway.

I'm hoping we'll get a definitive answer as to whether the botox knob enlargement works as I have a friend who's really interested in this.

I think it'll be on the lines of his family wanting to move back to Spain and that the club had an agreement to let him if an acceptable bid came in.

People enjoy the insults on here but the lad just lost his son, the lack of awareness is astounding.

In a shock move to get out of United and get CL football, Ronaldo come's out as trans, changes his pronouns to she/her, voiding his United contract, and moves to women's football.

We need to just force him out at this point...I think people forget he costs us £26m in wages per season and seems to be a huge distraction for the manager and the rest of the squad.

He'll be gone on deadline day. Mendes is working overtime to get him out, all he has to do is take a wage cut.

Need someone in crew or audience to cough *Messi* and calculate the xC (expected carnage).

It is all about him. Bigger than United.

I hope that he leaves, even on free. It will be like a new signing

He's such a bellend. This is almost as narcissistic as "La Decision" and much more transparent. If he wanted to dispel "fake" transfer news he would have done so there and then, not a fecking day after the window closes. His fan boi's in here will lap up whatever piss he serves them though.

Ronaldo PR v/r Club PR.

Ronaldo PR would win because "ManUtd bad/incompetent, embarrassing" is the bait that is clicked more.
Ronaldo model professional sells.

I’d watch that. He needs a prop of a bendy silicon infused penis and it could also become a porn movie.

He loves it here, never wanted to leave, does not like that there were wrong support. And that his family member is feeling better
