Netflix and avocado, no chill
Getting the Benoit treatment I see.
Totally agree.People who say we should pay him his contract off, IMO are wrong.
If Ronaldo wants to leave, it has to be contract termination with no pay out, so mutual termination.
If not, we tell him he has to train alone, if he doesn't, keep giving him fines and recover wages that way. We should not be paying him £20m to leave the club.
If he wants that, we should keep him but not play him until the summer. We need to show him the disrespect he wants to see.
I don't know but Marseille fans are for example significantly more vocal and critical than any current british fan base. One of the good things of british Football is that in general, the fans are well behaved with some exceptions. Now I wonder who would win that! I know in the Netherlands it's Ajax fans, and that United fans are absolutely meek sheep compared to them - but I can't really tell about other leagues.
Funny that Ronaldo's been getting sick so often in the past couple of weeks, eh? Didn't look sick in the training videos yesterday. Wonder what's making him so susceptible to conveniently timed bouts of illness..?
To be fair I'd get sick too if I had to spend 90 minute talking to Piers Morgan.Funny that Ronaldo's been getting sick so often in the past couple of weeks, eh? Didn't look sick in the training videos yesterday. Wonder what's making him so susceptible to conveniently timed bouts of illness..?
On the flip side, Messi is scoring worldies in the warm up matches for ArgentinaFunny that Ronaldo's been getting sick so often in the past couple of weeks, eh? Didn't look sick in the training videos yesterday. Wonder what's making him so susceptible to conveniently timed bouts of illness..?
This makes sense. It was a Woodward vanity signing wasn't it? I heard it repeated the other day on a podcast, possible Talk of the Devils. Woody convinced Joel of the financials. The deal was basically done and then Solskjaer was asked if he wanted him and he obviously said yes. I don't really think Ole had the clout to convince the Glazers to part with half a mill a week, do you?
So let him speak up then. Except he won't, because he has never, to my knowledge, said anything to upset the Glazers (why bite the hand that feeds you) and despite this poster thing today, I bet the owners will still hope Ronaldo will play again for United (even though he shouldn't). Having him in the squad and on the pitch frequently gives the team a superstar name that matters to the owners (and their accountants) even if it hurts the team's performance overall. In short - there is very little reason to believe that Fergie would be on Ronaldo's side here.
He's one of the very few people of whom I believe that they might actually care about stuff like this. That’ll show him!
Probably crying off ill so he can do a follow up interview to clear up tonight's s-tshow.To be fair I'd get sick too if I had to spend 90 minute talking to Piers Morgan.
At the risk of nitpicking: being critical and very vocal about it isn't necessarily the same as well-behaved though. Although Ajax fans are also the type that will physically confront staff and players if things aren't going they way they want; so I suppose it does kinda go hand in hand. (For actual hooliganism, Feyenoord probably still 'wins' it in the Netherlands. Maybe Nice in France? Or also Marseille?)I don't know but Marseille fans are for example significantly more vocal and critical than any current british fan base. Would have been funnier to stick somebody else’s head on him - like Valencia or Michael OwenHe's one of the very few people of whom I believe that they might actually care about stuff like this.
Or exchange his head with the one on this weird statue.Would have been funnier to stick somebody else’s head on him - like Valencia or Michael Owen
To some extent but I include patience in the notion of being well behaved. And no Marseille fans aren't really hooligans, for them it's almost exclusively about Football, they are vocal and ready for action if they feel that the players or the club isn't representing the club well. I think that they are childishly impatient but it's rarely for no reason. At the risk of nitpicking: being critical and very vocal about it isn't necessarily the same as well-behaved though. Its a hugely famous person who actually likes him. He will milk it for all its worthI've come to the conclusion Piers Morgan must be on the Ronaldo payroll.
He can't honestly believe the absolute nonsense he's talking regarding Ronaldo. It's cringe worthy listening to him lick Cristiano's arse.
Claiming he'd take the current Ronaldo for Arsenal. More PR work for Cristiano.
The Hagonavirus?Funny that Ronaldo's been getting sick so often in the past couple of weeks, eh? Didn't look sick in the training videos yesterday. Wonder what's making him so susceptible to conveniently timed bouts of illness..?
Half today half tomorrow can't let this fizzle out too quickly.Full interview is today, right?
I agree. Nobody was a bigger fan of CR7 than me, but first and foremost Im a fan and supporter of Manchester United and there are no players or managers bigger than the Club. Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex defined the Club but did not put themselves above it and I dont think they ever thought they had done so or wanted to do so. Sir Bobby defined the Club as a player ans ambassador but would have hated to think he might ever be considered bigger than it was. Weve had great players in the past who threw the odd tantrum, my own all time Hero Denis Law in his prime famously asked Busby for a rise or a transfer; Busby immediately put him on the transfer list and within days Denis apologized for his behaviour; Busby took him off the list and gave him his rise, but honour and principle were served and Denis never forgot the lesson he learned....nobody but NOBODY is bigger than the Club! Ronaldo has never learned this lesson, maybe he was never taught it, and in all likelyhood he was over indulged by the club, the managers he srved under and supporters and had started to believe that he WAS bigger than the club. For the excitement and wonder Ronaldo brought to Old Trafford and for the trophies he helped us win, I will always remember him fondly, but I can never forgive him for trying to hold Manchester United to ransom by basically refusing to play as and when the manager decided because he believed he knew better than the manager and was more important than him.Totally agree.
Meanwhile we'll still able to benefit from the sponsors deals and sell shirts to his fans. Afaik lot of sponsor deals might have a thing with our biggest names. But tbh I'd like us to take the #7 from him and give him the #37

Nah. He's doing precisely what PR7 has accused the likes of Neville for - riding his fame. The manchild is probably the most famous athlete on the planet, so it makes sense that Morgan is all over him.I've come to the conclusion Piers Morgan must be on the Ronaldo payroll.

If anyone says that they should be shot down immediately (not literally ). I've not seen many posters saying this to be fair.People who say we should pay him his contract off, IMO are wrong.

what the heck? who's he talking about?Madeira’s ex-President: “This anti-Ronaldo campaign is Portugal at its worst: jealousy, ungratefulness and badmouthing the most famous Portuguese person ever, who is from Madeira! Not a nerd from Lisbon. Ronaldo, tell them to f*** off!”
He doesn't have to.So let him speak up then.
We should replace it with a picture of Messi holding his 7 Ballon d'ors.Would have been funnier to stick somebody else’s head on him - like Valencia or Michael Owen
