No, completely different. He only played half a season for Burnley, but they were already down when he joined. Was smart enough to have a clause in his contract that if they went down, he could move on, which is why he has scored 9 goals and made 4 assists for Besiktas this season, as well as 2 goals in the World Cup.

We will see in half an hour what he's like, and I sure we'll be surprised.

I would say you can’t really say what is best. If ETH believes we are strong enough to win without Casemiro, then rest him. If not, play him. Personally I think he is our most important player and I can understand that ETH believes we need him even against Palace.

Casemiro is fundamental to almost everything thats good about us this season. We lost to Palace on our last visit with his replacement in CM. Scott was awful against Charlton too and despite Palace's poor run they are miles better than Charlton.

There is no way I would be thinking that way in your position. He is United’s most integral player and we are half the team when he doesn’t play. It would be massive for Arsenal if he was out.

I agree completely. 3 points is 3 points. Winning tonight is 3pts in the bag. I think we’ll all be happy with 4pts across the two games even if the goal is to win every game. Saving Casemiro for Arsenal, him playing amazingly there but us losing 1-0 is entirely possible and then you’ve just fecked yourself. If we had a really able deputy for him, I’d rest him tonight. But we don’t. He has to play. And he is. Very happy with that. Think this is the best line up we can put out considering circumstances and injuries.
