We just have too many players who are sloppy on the ball and that's why we're never in complete control of games. I'm not worried about Forest scoring though.

Dalot can't come back fast enough, AWB is just atrocious on the ball.
Spot on. Bruno is the worst culprit and im surprised Ten Hag hasnt pulled him on it yet (hopefully he has but it not changing). But there is a group of legacy players there who are sloppy with the ball and one error seems to lead to another and another, often resulting in a goal (see Arsenal on sunday).

Good to see W score a goal. I still think he’s a mismatch for us though, the way we attack we move it very quickly and he just can’t seem to keep pace. Still, a few goals while he’s here.

Casemiro has missed only one game but doesn't look as sharp...however, his run from our half to their penalty box and pass to Antony created the goal. Can't deny class.

Sloppiest I’ve ever seen Casemiro play. We need to up the intensity again and get a 3rd if poss As Forest look good on the break against this defence.

I say go all out and get another goal or two and rest players for the second leg. Too many games coming up with not enough quality squad depth. I’d say rest players for reading game aswell. The league and champions league place is vital to this season.

He plays like a youngster tbh. A seasoned pro like him should do better to keep things calm.
Rightly said. Makes my blood boil. Makes me wonder even with the addition of new players next summer, the way he plays can we ever control games with him in the team?

Two periods of good play either side of quite a lot of shite. Antony has been positive as I thought he was against Arsenal as well.

Hope he can find a finish in the second half.

Bruno pissed me off in the last 20 or so minutes of that first half. He should be taken off, heads clearly not in it - not like it ever is with him.

Overall decent if sloppy from the players. Also need to rest Eriksen so bad. Can see him struggling as the game wears on if Forest don't ease up on the pressing.

De Gea punched a ball from the corner, it needs to be said. It doesn’t happen often

If people are being honest, once pundits started turning on Antony, so did the fans.

He hasn't been great, but when you see him, you can also tell he's a hard worker. It just hasn't been coming off in terms of reading his teammates. People are so focused on him beating his man, without realizing, he could be a better inside threat.

Can't really criticise him too much at the mo. But Rashford ain't far behind Bruno is the giving it straight back to the opposition. It's either brilliant or a pass to the opposition with the both of them. Very frustrating.

Entire midfield needs to be subbed out. Bruno and Eriksen are running on fumes here

I most say I really love the way we play football under ETH. Yes we need to do better in all aspects of the game and add some more consistency to be up there with the likes of City, but we are definitely heading in the right direction, and with the return of Sancho, Martial and a couple of good signings this summer then :devil:

Bruno is always this sloppy. It's not fatigue. This is just how he plays, and its so difficult to watch time and time again. Those back heels will never not be frustrating. With the amount he tries, and how few come off.

Good first half though! Happily take 2-0.

Fred on please. Can't understand why he isn't starting this game.

I thought it was widely understood that Bruno attempts more killer passes than any other player, as a result he loses it more.

Seem to remember someone comparing the stat with KDB who lost the ball more than you may think.

You can’t have one without the other as frustrating as it can be.

Antony on the other hand is playing the wrong pass and doing it poorly. I think he’ll come good but they are not the same right now.

Antony, Weghorst and Rashford been our 3 best players - our 3 central midfielders have been....so-so

Forest have to be careful as they were looking very open at times despite playing well. At the same time they could easily get the next goal and come on really strong.

Killer passes in the final third is one thing, but fecking mindless back heels and flicks on the edge of your own box is another. Its a recurring theme

Starting to see ETH fluid front three. Rashford popping up on the right, Antony in the centre, Bruno on the right. Nice to see coaching working

I am quite enjoying the Horst. But man, he is slow. Should have got to that.
