Chelsea Football Club (also known as The Blues and The Pensioners) are a professional football club based in Fulham, London. Chelsea were founded on 10 March 1905 at The Rising Sun pub (now The Butcher's Hook) after Gus Mears had previously acquired the Stamford Bridge athletics stadium with the aim of turning it into a football ground. Since there was already a team named Fulham in the borough, the name of the adjacent borough, the Metropolitan Borough of Chelsea, was settled on. Chelsea's first major title success came in the form of the League Cup with the appointment of former Arsenal player, Ted Drake, who also led Chelsea to the their first ever League title, enabling them to compete in the European Cup, but after objections from The Football League and the FA, Chelsea were persuaded to withdraw from the competition before it started - allowing Matt Busby's Manchester United to start their illustrious adventure with the competition.

After decades of being non-competitors, Chelsea returned to the domestic title fore in 2003 under new owner Roman Abramovich, who fueled an unprecedented spending spree - starting in the mid 2000s. Since the takeover, Chelsea won 2 Champions League titles, 5 Premier League titles, 5 FA Cup titles, 2 Europa League titles and 3 League Cup titles. On 10 March 2022, the British government announced sanctions on Abramovich with Chelsea allowed to operate under a special license until 31 May. Subsequently, Chelsea confirmed that terms had been agreed for a new ownership group, led by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjörg Wyss, to acquire the club. On 30 May 2022, the sale was completed, ending Abramovich's 19 year ownership of the club. Chelsea's most prominent rivalries include local clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, title rivals Manchester United, Liverpool and Leeds United. Chelsea play their home games at Stamford Bridge — which had been their home for over a century.

Need to win this but we're limping over the line. Hopefully Rashford is back.

Two homes game left. Just the one point required to guarantee top 4. Chelsea with nothing to play for and Fat Frank in charge. I wouldn't be surprised if we get smashed by Chelsea.

But it'll be the usual 0-0 and on we go.

If we don't win this match we don't deserve Champions League.

Bet Ten Hag starts Weghorst and then signs him on a permanent deal.

    Etc.

Just need a point at home. But we shouldn't let Chelsea off here, let's beat them and secure top 4 in style.

Two home games coming up. I'm confident we'll at least get a point in these games.

I expect this to end with an absolutely dreadful 0-0. Chelsea will park the bus, we won't find a way through and everyone will be bored. Which is good enough at this point.

I think they are quite a possession based side, just toothless.

0-0 or 1-1 incoming. We rarely beat them and rarely lose at home.

This has 0-0 bore draw written all over it. Which I'd be totally fine with given the circumstances.

Yeah, maybe parking the bus is the wrong phrase here. They'll pack the midfield and keep the ball away from us as much as possible. I don't expect them to leave space in behind either.

Basically this. We don't have the aggression nor pressing to really combat that, they have nothing to play for.

We should be comfortably seeing them off , we are quite good at home and They are absolutely shocking don't see that changing .

De Gea, AWB, Varane, Lindelof, Shaw, Casemiro, Eriksen, Bruno, Antony, Rashford, Martial.

Get a result so we can rest at least 5 of them vs Fulham.

This does give me some trepidation, just a little bit.

Cant see much beyond a 1-1 or 0-0. Get the point needed, no injuries and save some legs for the final. We are just the team to score goals and hopefully if the leeches have departed in good time, the team can look vastly different for next season.

    Sancho Rashford Antony
    Eriksen Casemiro Bruno
    Shaw Lindelof Varane Wan Bissaka
    De Gea

Martial can't play more than 1 game a week, Garnacho impact sub, should be a comfortable win

We always draw with Chelsea. Considering their form and remaining fixtures, coupled with a draw being good enough for us I'm thinking a boring, low scoring draw. Completely okay with that.

Back to back away games in Manchester for Chelsea. They will be lucky to get a point out of both games with the way they've been playing. We should be beating them and securing top 4 with ease.

I would go with Garnacho, Rashford, Bruno

Start Fred, with Eriksen and Casemiro against a more mobile midfield.

These been jokers for most if not all season, but, honestly, was quietly hoping today we don't leave our fate up to these lot.

Probably same team as the win at Bournemouth bar getting Rashford in if ready. Get the job done with a result here and then we can play the likes of Dalot, Maguire, Malacia, McTominay, and Weghorst against Fulham. Could start Garnacho too and sub him off after 60~ so he's had more minutes in the bank.

I'm expecting EtH will already have the main plan in place for the FA Cup Final already, so if we can get 4th secured that will be the only thing on his mind.

Chelsea have been shite but I’d take a bore draw with no injuries.

    Rest everyone vs Fulham.

Win the FA Cup and stop the cheaters from buying our treble

Let's secure top 4 here with a good win at home over the rent boys and give the fans a good day out at OT to make amends for some of the shit away days we've had to endure this season. 3 or 4 nil please with a real party atmosphere
