Yes, and Rodri definitely better as well. Maybe he is on par with the likes of Bernado Silva, Kyle Walker and Ederson.
For me, Grealish is fully unremarkable and very lucky to be part of this City team. What he does well is keep possession, win fouls, and help out the defense by tracking back, but creatively he doesn't offer as much as Silva, KDB, Mahrez or Foden.
He is absolute trash. I don't care what anyone says, he's so basic and underwhelming. The fact the media love his off beat (dumb) interviews that they can clip and create content off means they don't discuss him being a £100m flop.

tbf this was a nice moment. Seems he agrees with some here that he was awful
.People saying he’s unlikeable, he’s actually not, he’s surprisingly friendly and humble. He’s brilliant with fans, especially kids and makes time for people. He’s generous aswell. I loved him at villa and wanted us to sign him. People who say he isn’t nice, just see him on the pitch and His hair and style and assume it. Actually watch him and say he’s a prick, he really isn’t, he’s a good lad in all honesty.
The best thing Grealish brings is a pressure on the opponent from a side with his dribbling, i really like seeing it. It puts everyone on a badfoot that helps the rest of the team with time & space. It was more valuable to them than sterling tapping in every goal at the back post or pass.

He loves a post match interview. If he were as good as the media pretends he is he would be some player.
I think the issue some people have is this "Jack the Lad" persona is grating after a while because he's not a young player anymore so certain things he says and does when the camera is rolling just comes off forced and boorish.
Agree with this, he’s always engaging in his interviews and has a likeable personality, which is pretty rare in top flight football.

I actually don't mind him going on the lash, it's literally the only interesting/engaging thing about the whole City treble (hence why everyone is so desperate to focus on it!) and I would’ve absolutely done the same, but at the same time, you just know that if was a certain group of other players doing it, it would very much be being reported in a different way. Hell, even the England players dentist chair debacle from the 90s was treated as a scandal rather than a jolly. He gets away with it 'cos he's a loveable himbo but imagine it was Sterling, or Rashford.

He’s a decent player and the poster boy for a generally likeable England squad. Doesn’t come across as particularly sharp but then he’s a footballer so who really cares? He doesn’t spit at people, steal other people’s wives or beat up his girlfriend so for now there’s plenty of other individuals deserving flak before him.

I'm not Grealish's biggest fan, but he was brilliant v Real Madrid and scored some important goals v Arsenal and Liverpool, just as City were starting to hit their stride.
