The second. Kane has way easier games, Rashford trumps Bruno for goal threat and it’s not just Eze, but your pick of the 6,5s in midfield over Jackson.
Fair points. Especially good point about the £6.5m slot although on the flip side I have nowhere to go with my 3rd forward who's Pedro at £5.5m. Maybe Morris after gw3?

If Jackson, Watkins or someone starts firing I'll need two transfers to get them in.

That’s the one thing that has stopped me from going the same way. My current draft with a nice 4,5 and Pedro as a third striker that I can bench is much more sensible.

But I keep coming back to the fact that Kane could go ballistic in this new Spurs attacking system.

So basically it is the security and flexibility vs Kane. I honestly don’t know which to go for, but at least I have it down to two!

Also is there not a good chance that Chukwuemeka (£4.5m mid) starts at #10 for Chelsea now with Nkunku out for months?

Who, beside Areola and Beyer; will you bench?
Currently thinking of Chilwell and Pedro on bench along with the 2 you mentioned. Can upgrade one of Mitoma or Eze to a 7.5m midfielder but I don't like any of the availbale options in Maddison or Foden(minutes risk). Similar with Martinelli or any of the Liverpool mids, none of them are guaranteed starters. Had Watkins previously but his fixtures are not kind early on.

No Arsenal coverage at all will hurt you.
But Kane/Haaland/Salah... ooooh.
I cannot bring myself to do it, my gonads are just not big enough.

But it makes sense in a weird way, going against the template were the big 3 will haul as usual, the defence is fine so its getting on the best cheap mids and forwards as quickly as possible as the season unfolds.

There are plenty of cheap mids that will haul this season, its getting on them before everyone else, everyone's midfield is stacked so they are going to be reluctant to swap for a cheaper mid even if they are scoring well.

I will pick one of these below 3 drafts:

Main Draft:

Onana
Gabriel, Chilwell, Estupinian
Saka, Rashy, Martinelli, Maddison, Bruno
Haaland, Pedro

Subs: Areola, Mubama, Kabore, Beyer

(£2m in the bank to upgrade Pedro to Jackson from GW3)

Kane Draft:

Onana
Gabriel, Chilwell, Estupinian, Stones
Saka, Rashy, Eze, Mitoma
Haaland, Kane

Subs: Areola, Anderseon, Kabore, Mubama

(£0.0m in the bank)

Salah Draft:

Onana
Gabriel, Estupinian, Saliba
Saka, Rashy, Salah, Eze, Maddison
Haaland, Pedro

Subs: Areola, Mubama, Kabore, Beyer

Most likely will go with the MAIN DRAFT but the KANE DRAFT is tempting. Don't think SALAH DRAFT is worth it.

@Dirty Schwein Kane draft, cos that's basically my team. I've got a 4.5m instead of Chilwell and upgraded Eze to get Foden. Guess it's a question of whether Kane, Foden, Mitoma, Pau/4.5m > Pedro/Jackson, Bruno, Maddison, Chilwell.

You think Maddison is good to start the season with? How did he do pre-season?

Mitoma, Eze, Diaby or Bernardo for a £6.5 mid?

Have Estupinian and Pedro in team already.

feck it. I'm going triple Brighton hoping to come out flying. Luton and Wolves first 2 doesn't get much better.

In other news, looks like Turner going to Forest from Arsenal might now be the £4m keeper of choice. Imagine if Ortega gets the City #1 Jersey though...

Maddison was very advanced, involved with all the attacks, even running ahead of Kane at times plus took a bunch of set plays if I remember correct. Everything seemed to go through him. I had Son in every draft before but he seems to be playing as a traditional winger, limiting his goal threat. Rather take the punt on Maddison now and save the £1.5m. They have one friendly left so let's see how that goes...

In another note... Can't wait until Luton beat Brighton 1-0... Gonna laugh at all the Brighton double and triple ups. Including at myself

If Kane leaves this week would you pick Richarlison over Maddison or just ignore Spurs’ assets?

I would probably get Eze and see how Spurs do. The mental damage Kane leaving can do cannot be underrated.

Do we think Garnacho starts on the left with Rashy up top whilst Hojlund gets fit?

Or more likely to see Sancho false 9 and Rashy on the left?

What's the deal with Evan Ferguson. Seems to he rarely started friendlies. Has he been injured or something?
I think I read a quote from Ferguson where he said he expects the strikers to rotate a lot this season, Welbeck seems to be ahead of him for starts judging by preseason.

They have options up front and he's still young, so his minutes will continue to be managed. He's said himself that he expects that striker spot to be rotated a lot this season.

How sure are we Mitoma starts every game? They have so many attacking options and almost 2 players for every spot. Does Mitoma start the first 3 games?

Cheers I've juggled it around to get him out and Watkins in, seems like the safer bet.

He's my 4.5 mid. He looked really lively from the pre-season highlights.

Thoughts on a single premium draft? If Kane's around I def want him but I have my doubts. Bayern are quite efficient and Spurs seem to want to listen given their links to other random strikers. I'm on the Joao Pedro bandwagon for now - record signing and all that so he probably won't be benched instantly?

Onana (Areola)
Chilwell, Gabriel, Dias (Udogie, Baldock)
Bruno, Mitoma, Odegaard, Saka, Maddison
Pedro, Haaland, (Jackson)

The pedro / jackson / random midfielder rotation could cause a lot of stress, so I'm wondering if I should just forget about it and keep Kane + chukmuweka and a cheap forward.

Thanks. Are you also confident Joao Pedro starts the first 3 games?
Brighton are like a mini City with loads of potential rotation. Mitoma is probably the safest but it's tough to say about Pedro. He's been good in pre-season and takes pens. The good thing about him is he can play many positions so will definitely get minutes.

I just need him to play the first two games, which he should. Then he's transferred to Jackson.

I think it's a risk I'm willing to take.

Kane draft only makes sense to me if you plan on captaining him, which I don't think most will ahead of Halland. I feel like Bruno, Martinelli, Pedro (Jackson) and Maddison sounds more solid and reliable compared to Kane, Eze, Mitoma and Stones.

Main draft looks good. Just not liking Pedro. Out of position the wrong way round? But done to get Maddison in?
Mitoma seems a good bet instead. Not sure Maddo's price and what you could instead squeeze a striker to otherwise.
