Watched them both in action yesterday on TV here in brasil against Columbia. The game ended 0 - 0 but brasil have already qualified for the U17 world cup as they top the group. Fabio is left footed and played at left back and is captain of the team with 5 goals in the tournament. He makes plenty of forward attacking runs, has huge pace, dribbling skills are pretty decent, is a class act and his crossing is perfect. Rafael his twin who was playing right full back is right footed and never crossed the half way line and didnt attack very much but is a class act also and has good accurate passing. He dived to block one of columbias only shots of the game and it was a great block in a dangerous situation. Other than that it was all brazil but they couldnt manage to hit the target and the brazilian defence contained Columbia attacks with ease.
Lula up front for brasil looks like a real star of the future though. The twins join us in summer 2008 and both look alot bigger and stronger than they did in the photos of them 1 year ago signing for us. Fabio looks like the more likely of the 2 to make it although rafael is top quality. Both have portuguese passports. Gareth Bale who??????

Are they both better than Bale?
And have we actually signed them or just following them still?I know we cannot sign under 18s from Brazil but atleast can sign pre-contracts can't we?

We have an agreement with Fluminenese that they will join next year when they are 18 years old. Maybe because they have portuguese passports makes life much easier for them to join straight away.

Apparently Cristiano Ronaldo had a few words with them to ecourage them to join before they signed a pre-contract

Maybe SAF is thinking of Bale in a Giggs type role.
Was going to say "maybe he doesn't want him" until i remembered him saying something about Tottenham leading the chase for him.

They cost more than the twins would and infact my point was that Fabio might become a winger and some one said that a FULLBACK couldn't so you have just said that Bale (a fullback) could be a winger. You tried to stick up for McK@n but ended up contradicted him.
