Less minutes for Martial, Eriksen, Casemiro even. More for Pellistri, Garnacho, Mejbri and then Mainoo, Amrabat, Amad when they come back. Huge changes needed.

Its not about that though bud, the club is so badly run
I agree the Glazers need to go but ultimately they've backed managers year after year with millions.

I think ultimately the board are shit at picking managers.

I like Ten Hag. I still support him. However, I am starting to wonder if the team can go any further under him. I don't understand why he stuck with the diamond once De Zerbi sussed it. Especially once McTominay started getting rinsed down the line. The team seems to try and score the perfect goal every time, instead of trying to get in behind and feed our giant striker. And defensively...as bad as under Ole at the end.

Another manager who has no clue that midfield is the most area of the team and it gets ignored time and time again.

Where's the Red Cafe ministry of truth? Hope you're enjoying all this. I almost got banned for having the balls to compare the anointed saviour Erik Ten Hag to Solskjaer. At this rate, he might not even be better than Solskajer. A midfield with two of the Red Cafe-anointed best midfielders in the world, Casemiro and Bruno, getting ripped apart at home to the likes of by those midfield giants of Nunes, Lemina, Sarr, Bissouma, Gross, Lallana and Dahoud. Laughable.

Unfortunately I don’t think he’s lasting another year or so. Doesn’t know how to keep teams tight… when we lose we concede loads.

City lost 5 games all season last year, we're on 3 after 5 games.

Season's over already. Start planning for next year now, even if it involves a different manager
Well... you are comparing this team to the best team in Europe that won a treble. Ofcourse that comparison isnt going to flatter this team.

Even if he's shit it feels absolutely pointless getting a serious replacement until the club is sold. He's made mistakes that a competent club wouldn't have given him the chance to make. A new manager will do the same. Recruitment is still an absolute pisstake 10 years on.

This place going to be fun.
If you thinking of replacing manager, then better come up with a name or just be quiet. Take in mind new manager has to deal with fecking Glazers whom wanting 10 bils, a piss poor recruitment team, yes man sporting director, and Darren Fletcher. What the feck does Fletcher do anyway?

Don’t know what was the point with waiting with changes and then going with what he went. We don’t have a midfield and no matter how many attackers we will put on, we will not score. At this stage, I would give Gore a run as it cannot get worse in term of our midfield.

Pretty sure ETH’s ass is fecking sore after that. The world’s most expensive squad undone by Brighton (again). Rashford constantly fluffing his lines doesn’t help, injuries in defense doesn’t help, but how do you not start Garnacho, sub Hojlund out with that clown Martial?

Okay, we’re all emotional here after a loss at home, and his winning percentage at United is still 65%, but… what the feck? Seriously, what the feck?????
keep saying it but performances dropping off the face of the earth when a couple of individuals are unavailable is proof we rely on individuals still to me

Can't see how he reaches christmas, every player has gone backwards and he doesnt seem to have any plans in any game. Been outcoached and outplayed in pretty much every game.

£150m is a lot of money and will go far if spent well. We've allowed yet another manager to spend it badly. Hardly a surprise we find ourselves in another mess
No it’s not. With the amount of holes and lack of depth in our squad, £150m gets you one world class player and maybe another decent one, and that’s it.

Managers keep getting held accountable yet the owners don’t hold the people above them accountable for anything.

Sorry but we cannot continue to defend with 10.5 players consistently against good teams. Every time they played through our left side it was swiss cheese because we are asking 2 players to mark 3 people consistently. The fullbacks had an absolute field day in possession again. If Rashford cannot press for 90 minutes, then he needs to be subbed off, we have wingers on the bench who can do the job. I don't care how good you are in attack, unless you are prime Messi or Ronaldo bagging 2 goals per game, then the trade off is not worth it.

Said it before, De Zerbi (even though many calls him flavor of the month manager). I believe de zerbi should try his hand at a bigger club. If Pochettino was available he would have been ideal, but he isn't, so de zerbi is definitely my choice at the moment.
Poch

Pretty much impossible to defend him after his substitutions. A new manager that can give better opportunities to the young players would be great.
We made a big mistake giving him input on transfers, he’s wasted hundreds of millions on average players that most new managers will quickly want rid of.

Morale counts for a lot. Just look at this Brighton side, even when they lose players everyone who comes in looks amazing and their coach looks amazing too. De Zerbi seems levels above Ten Hag right now, but switch their positions and De Zerbi would probably be struggling too. We are just in a serious rut from top to bottom.

Nonetheless Ten Hag clearly has a lot of flaws when it comes to recruitment, tactics and coaching. So at least we can stop with the tiresome messiah talk once and for all. We seriously need to get past this idea of every new manager being the next SAF who will save us. Grim times.

Unfortunately a matter of months before he’s gone as well. Wonder when we’ll find the right manager…

It is like he still hasn't adapted to the reality of the PL. You need physicality as well as technique in the PL, you need running power, mobility, stamina. That midfield set up today was pure lunacy, 4 relative plodders with Cas and Eriksen well past their physical prime. Fred had a ton of limitations but at least he gave pace, energy, tempo. Amrabat best be a Edgar Davids/Keane hybrid.

This could get messy quickly, shocking comparison today to how well drilled Brighton were.

Giving managers a blank check and telling them to dictate our transfer strategy is suicidal. The Glazers absolutely deserve blame for that. Hire competent specialists for each facet of our footballing operations first and foremost.

His subs and his line up needs questioning. I like the guy, but there are far too many brain farts happening.

I hope he can turn it around as if he doesn't we are so fecked. His weird policy of signing players he's coached or played against has possibly left us with a squad of dross.

Looks massively out of his depth.
He’s being tactically out thought by virtually every single apposing manager.

How do back to back second place finishes equal an ‘embarrassing joke’?

And by the same token, Ole has won titles in Norway. Ultimately, I don’t really care what they’ve done elsewhere, as United managers, Ole has been better. The football we played just after lockdown was the best we’ve played in years, he had us scoring goals which Ten Hag has never managed, and he’s had some big performances against big sides, outplaying City at The Etihad on more than one occasion. Ten Hag has just been getting battered by every top side.

Calling a spade a spade, there’s no way in a million years that Ten Hag has been a better manager than Solskjaer. Whether either are good enough is a different question, but this con artist isn’t.
Ole had some great moments but he presided over a complete degradation of standards and discipline. By the end of his reign opposition fans were singing his song. If that's not embarrassing I don't know what is. I'm not saying ETH is a top tier manager but he is clearly better than Solskjaer. If we sacked ETH he would get another good European job easily, the same has not been true of Ole.

£450m spent and its still shite.

Thing is, I don't think it matters who the club gets in as manager anymore. The players are broken and no amount of coaching by various managers seems to do anything.

Sack him, coaching is non existent, tactics are extremely shit and easily found out by other managers, look today RDZ clearly has a plan, cut it back all day there is space there, Eth is lost
