Bizarre that Hannibal was dropped yesterday considering how great he has been on the press. He's a must start.

    Onana
    Dalot - Varane - Maguire - Lindelof
    Casemiro - Amrabat
    Bruno - Mount - Garnacho
    Hojlund

We have to win this. No ifs and buts. 2-1 United.

    No rashford
    No bruno

    And we might win.
I came here to say pretty much this. On current form, I'd sell them both to get a proven goal-scorer. But I do repeat: on current form. I do realise Rashford, in particular, is capable on going on a goal-scoring run. but what the hell has happened to the guy we signed four years ago?

No point even trying to guess whether we'll turn up or not - but can pretty much guarantee giving Zaha a goal

This will be a tough game.

    Onana
    Dalot Varane lindelof Reguilon
    Cas Amrabat
    Bruno Mount Rashford
    Hojlund

Need a strong performance here. Our home form as got a bit sketchy. Need Hojlund to start getting on the scoresheet to gain some confidence. We’ve got enough creativity out there.

Promised my son we could watch matches this year and I’d take him to a few. Thankfully he’s in bed at champions league kick off times.

At least Viking are doing well, but their season is soon done. Middlesbrough doing better now so I can send him with his granddad. His first Old Trafford experience should he special, but with how dire we’ve been I just don’t want to take him, imagine a toxic crowd and a poor result. It’s high time these useless, workshy wasters got their fingers out, top to bottom

Huge game for ETH this one, lose this and he's in trouble I'm certain of it.

I'd like to think he would drop Rashford and Bruno but I'm not holding my breath.

Barring any injuries, it will be the same team as yesterday.

As if we play CL games without our star player and the captain. Not that I disagree with you. There’s a very slim chance Rashford is dropped, but 100% Bruno plays. My captain always plays.
Are you referring to Rashford as our star player.....? You must be joking.

I feel we might be pleasantly surprised to see Rashford and Bruno (or one of them at least) on the bench for this one. For a manager that has stood his ground in upholding standards, I believe ETH will see the light for this fixture.

    Bruno should not be dropped.

Ffs he's the only player we have who's putting in a 8/10 performance every fecking game for the last 3 years and you lot would drop him?!
Just put him in his normal place.

    Casemiro - Hanibal
    Bruno in front

Put Mount on RW if Antony isn't match fit.
    Garnacho on LW
    Hojlund up top.

    So fecking easy.

We are forever told Top 4 is all that matters...well we got Top 4 last season so we should enjoy the match ffs.

All I want to see is a balanced selection which also includes some youth.

When are the mods going to fix the team selection? Numerous players there who are out on loan or no longer at the club?

I absolutely do not want to see Lindelof anywhere near this team.

Get Hannibal back in midfield and put one of Mount or Bruno out wide.

    I want to see this:

    Onana
    Dalot Varane Lindelof Amrabat
    Casemiro
    Bruno Mount
    Antony Hojlund Martial

Reckon it's probably our best team right now with the players available.

We lose this surely the manager is walking a tightrope.

CL group stage failure he would have to go.

Hopefully we pull something out of our arses and get the three points.

I fear we could face any team in Europe right now and lose. The OT crowd will be up for it for sure but the boos were the loudest heard in a while at full time yesterday. Patience will run out eventually whether we like the manager or not.

Why in gods name did Utd give Rashford such a great new contract just on the back of a relatively short purple patch?
We must be the worse ran club in the PL.
Hope he’s dropped for this match and a for few others as well.

    Dalot Lindelof Evans Amrabat
    Hannibal Casemiro Mount
    Bruno Hojlund Garnacho

Eriksen or Hannibal, whatever on that point. Probably Hannibal for better energy to inspire us more. Garnacho has to start. Bruno on the right as pellistri shouldn't start. Let Rashford be bench for a bit. Amrabat will sadly be LB until we get one back.
Would probably go for Maguire over Evans and try to get Amrabat inverted if possible but yeah we need the above midfield and Garnacho deserves a start

he’s always been a purple patch player, he’s not somebody we can rely on for goals regular.

when he’s bad though he’s very bad although he doesn’t help himself when he constantly dribbles into a dead end. I’d like to see garnacho get a run at left wing for a few games at least and bench Rashford.

    Amrabat - Hannibal

Casemiro definitely needs a rest here and wouldn't start Mount or Varane 3 games in a row so soon after injury.

    Rashford and Bruno dropped.

    I would play:

    Onana

    Dalot
    Maguire
    Evans
    Lindelof

    Amrabat
    Hannibal

    Garnacho
    Eriksen
    Pellistri

    Martial

But ETH will not drop Bruno, and I very much doubt that he'll play that back line, as I imagine he'll stick with Amrabat at LB.

Ultimately it probably doesn't matter. They are in good form this season and don't concede many goals, and we're an absolute catastrophe.

I expect they'll win this, and if they do that's curtains for us in the group.

I don’t mint much about how we set up the team as long as we win but nevertheless I would like to see

    1) Varane being rested for this game. Maguire, Lindelöf and Evans should be capable to defend

    2) Mejbri to start. With the two starts he already have had he has shown that he can play in the middle against senior teams and as a minimum so as our current starters

    3) Garnacho to start. He needs more game time and it won’t hurt to put some real pressure on Rashford for the LW spot

    Let’s keep it simple.

Pick one and sub the other on if needed.

    Rashford or Garnacho
    Martial or Hojlund
    Bruno or Mount

Hannibal back in because he did nothing wrong and deserves to keep his place.

Amrabat and Casemiro in front of whatever back four is fit.
