Even if we equalise Brighton will just get another goal  :(
Yep we need three to win this game and right now we are averaging 0.93 goal per game that’s relegation form and as a manager coach you have to get sacked for overseeing that, ETH in my honest opinion has 45 minutes to buy him some much needed time. If he’s serious he’ll make 3 subs now and keep two up his sleeve.

He needs to get serious now Rashford off, Garnaucho on, Martial on and into CF and Hojlund over to right wing where he’ll be absolute menace with martial feeding him.
Amrabat needs subbing for Eriksen as well no creativity.

    Mount off but it could be just as much Bruno off but we need to line up like this ;
Onana, Lindelof Maguire, J Evans, Dalot, Ericsen, Casemiro, Bruno, Hojlund, Martial Garnaucho.

We need Hojlund physicality in a tough game but 5 defeats in your first 8 PL games and losing 3 from 5 at home plus your first two CL games means you get the sack.

We’ve seen enough, we should pick up the phone to Brighton do the deal for De Zerbie or go get Zidane . sometimes its not that the coach is a bad coach, it’s just he’s making continuously bad decisions with his stubborn nature and for that he must be sacked unless he turns this around!

You might as well give him to the 1st November then pull the trigger, he would have maybe 10 points from 10 games and probably still not have scored 10 goals plus United would be be out of Carabo Cup and CL.

Giving a new coach 28 PL games, maybe Europa League and Fa Cup is a good test but I’m fed up with temporary coaches, get Zidane or Der Zerbie , not Hanse Flick, Naigelsman would be just like ETH?

Once again the issue is scoring. We average less than a goal a game yet the focus is on how bad our defence is. A great offense can take pressure off our defence and vice versa. other teams have 18 goals already we have 7. Its not like we only playing top sides so far either
Scoring is the hardest part of football. And sadly, it's rarely bypassed to be achieved first. Meaning you need good defence, midfield so that scoring becomes easy.

Rarely do poor midfield, defence have a better scoring numbers as a team.

Is playing Mount/Bruno on the right really a better option than Garnacho/Antony/Rashford on the right? ETH is digging his own grave

Either do I. Im truly lost for an explanation as to how this cycle of shite happens year after year ever since SAF retired. It’s the exact same pattern as before time and time again. A new manager comes in, everyone gets a lift, the team does well for a period of time and then it all goes to shite and the manager gets sacked. It’s relentlessly repetitive.

Now, I completely understand that the biggest of our problems is the Glazers, the club is rotten from top to bottom, they have sucked the life out of the club and we won’t properly recover until they go, however at the end of the day we still get to put 11 men, all international footballers, on the pitch every single match.

Why is everything we try to do with these players a struggle, why is it every time we get a corner we already know it’s going to be cleared comfortably. Why is it that every time we have a free kick in a dangerous area we know it’s going to come to nothing yet why do we fear a goal will go in when our opponents have the same opportunities.

These aren’t the same players Moyes had, they aren’t the same players Van Gaal had, they aren’t the same players Mourinho had and they aren’t (all) the same player Solsjkar had but we are witnessing the same depressing cycle of shite year after year after year. Its like there’s a curse on us or there’s something in the water at Old Trafford that is resulting in this never ending loop of misery. It’s gotten to the point where I never expect us to get back to the top again. No matter who we sign, no matter who the manager is, no matter what. We are stuck in this continuous nightmare for ever.
I hope that someone someday writes a book

    There's only one United!
Same feeling, we have way too many weak or slow players (or both). Hojlund is the only "strong and quick" player in our XI tonight, which is pathetic

    Rashford - quick but weak
    Bruno - slow and weak
    Casemiro - strong but slow
Mount - average speed and strength
Arambat - strong with average speed
Dalot - average speed and strength
Lindelof - slow and weak (at CB standard)
    Maguire - strong but slow
Evans - average strength and slow
    Where's Onana?

More and more convinced we're cursed.

We're 1-0 down at home to Brentford and I have no hope whatsoever we'll make them work.

Players and managers come here with good reputations and seem to be inflicted with some kind of malaise. Lots of people called Onana a good signing, comes here and he's suddenly turned into a clown.

10 years of one step forward two massive steps back.

It's reached the point where I just don't expect us to win games, just like under every former manager towards the end of their tenures.

    Disagree.
This is as much as Onana knows nothing more.
Do you think hes suddenly gonna become Buffon ? No way.
I saw him play previously with Inter and he was atrocious.
Might as well play him at cb.
This is unfortunately Ten Hags fault
This is nonsense. He was getting rave reviews last season.

Did you not watch the Arsenal Spurs game? Maddison played deeper than Mount is today. He was receiving the ball from a short goal kick on the half turn.
Which kind of explains my point. 29 passes from central midfield throughout the game. He is an entirely different player when attacking than playing centre.

You could put any player as a CM, but it doesn't make them very effective. I've seen Bruno play there, and he has had some good moments from CM, but ultimately he's not, and never will be a CM. He doesn't have the attributes to consistently play well as a CM.

That almost never true. Low scoring teams with a good defense rarely become high flying free scoring. Whereas tonnes of teams are high scoring but are porous at the back.

There's definitely merit to doing that in the short term as a kick up the arse and to show that it's a meritocracy but I do get that long-term if he puts Pellistri, Garnacho and Hannibal or whoever in for those 3 then he's fecked anyway. It would indicate that he's spent a fortune and is now putting out a team that is midtable quality at best so he's trusting the guys who he knows are top 4 standard when on form even if they're way below that currently.
Stop it with your sensible commentary.

It used to be the camera picking out a glum Woodward in the crowd that got the fury going.
Now it's a shot of our management lookalikes.
