Worryingly the San Marino defenders seem hellbent on injuring Højlund

There's no doubt about it. England should have absolutely hammered these, they are awful any time the players that can play just decide to... play. It shows, because they consistently need to foul them.

Southgate randomly fearing the reputation of nations is forever crippling.

Italy's second half performance has been dreadful. You'd think they'd already qualified they way they've played. No sense of urgency at all.

What's to criticise tonight? Largely excellent,

Why isn't Rashford this amazing when he plays for United?
He doesn’t get to play with someone as good as Bellingham when he plays for us. The speed with which Bellingham controls and plays the ball makes things a lot easier for the forwards. We play zombie football.

England superb in second gear.

Great seeing this team just brush aside Italy when they please. Never thought I’d see the day!

Bellingham looks tired, would get Maddison on for the final 10 mins

Kalvin Phillips was largely shite. Henderson was his replacement. He only went with Kalvin Phillips because of his defensive qualities, because as per usual, he's afraid of the other team instead of the other way round.

Southgate could very well fluke into a winners medal... that top 4 and Rice have been stellar, that's not down to Southgate though.

Kalvin Phillips has been the only negative tonight really.

Wonder if TAA can't play there instead of him? Think JWP would also do a better job to be honest.

Who should he play instead of Phillips or Henderson?
