I will dine off this result for years and absolutely will slag them. I was getting texts from pool supporters laughing at us up until Anthony scored (right foot too) , which made it so so sweet at the end.We got little right to slag them as we are fecking shite but that said thank feck they only won two cups.
Yeah that was some fecking game and result.I will dine off this result for years and absolutely will slag them. I was getting texts from pool supporters laughing at us up until Anthony scored (right foot too) , which made it so so sweet at the end.
It's been on overdrive almost every year for the last 10 years it feels like. There should be a ban on quadruple/treble talk until you're in 2 finals at least. Any top PL team that wins the league Cup should still be in the FA Cup and Europe anyway.
They even asked EtH about it last year. A week after the league cup some genius realised we were still technically in 3 other competitions and asked him. He just laughed. It's been on overdrive almost every year for the last 10 years it feels like.
I remember the 1st I heard of it was the "Portuguese Man of Four" talk around 2006 or so.
We won the LC in 2009, won the league, lost FA Cup SF and CL Final and until that FA Cup Semi I don't recall a huge amount of quadruple talk.
But City and Liverpool seem to take turns with the quadruple talk year on year.
