I really like him, and obviously want him to succeed. But getting really tired of such dogmatic coaches. Everybody is Guardiola-redux apparently. Even Guardiola needs billions and/or a La Masia star cohort to win.
I wish I could say to my boss in the first month of my new job at a massive company, "there's going to be pain but this is how I work and I won't change, it will work when you let go of people that are already here and get me different people". Doesn't seem like management genius to me.
Why is Dalot continuing on the left? Inverted wingers AND inverted wing backs? Why is Bruno not playing forward. Why are they not mixing it up once in a while and go long with a goalkick and relieve some pressure, when what ends up happening more of than not is they play around the bank and a defender has to hoof it up anyway?
