Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

Consoling myself.

7 for Sanchez, 3 for Palmer. It's not awful.

A 6 point cleanie for a keeper, and an assist for a midfielder while conceding + a yellow card would be the same 10 from 2 players.

Edit: Late extra point for Sanchez too on BPS by the looks of it too. 8 now.

Him and Savinho are getting binned. Think I want KDB as my 3rd City player. Will wait for cup game before making any decisions though. Rogers, Rashford or Eze maybe for the other spot.

Palmers fallen off of a cliff. If he was wearing a United shirt it would be getting way more coverage how poor he’s been.

That whole attack has problems.

Jackson not scoring for almost as long as Palmer until today, Nkunku not doing it when he has an opportunity. On the wings none of Madueke, Neto or Sancho putting up numbers consistently, Mudryk suspended and useless anyway.

Yeah, one sided, can’t tell if Leyton Orient are crap (their clearances are ‘agricultural’) or it’s Wycombe pressure.

Leyton Orient are one of my irrational hated clubs because of my only visit there. My cousin got me to go watch Wrexham in the play off final v Leyton Orient (what a sh!thole!). I got thrown out when Wrexham equalised, had to stand outside ground waiting for bus, trying to look innocuous in a Wales top  with locals wandering past. Got a bit of abuse… and a letter from local police a few days later.

Good times.
Blown it. So we'll take our luck in the playoffs, having hit a period where we look no attacking force at all, against 3 teams who've all come into nice form. Never mind. Huge missed opportunity where kicking our loved manager who was playing great footy out, might not be considered a genius move.

Really hope Charlton somehow nick 2nd as we'd have no chance in the playoffs against them - they'll clearly win them. Whereas I think Wrexham are a slightly more cynical, crap attack, defensively strong (ish) version of us who I'd take our chances against.

Yes, the hope was that form is temporary, class is permanant and that he could rediscover his magic. On pens too of course.

Quiet so far.
Yep, was worth a go, but essentially a bust. Never mind.
At least Sanchez saw it through for what should be an 8 pointer.

Would need snookers.

Draw later today - we'd need a Wrexham defeat and a win.
Wrexham lose later, we'd need a Wrexham defeat/draw & Charlton not to win, while we do.

It's definitely playoffs now.

Back in 94, in league 2 we were top 3 all season, then won 1 in 7, crumbled. Then won the playoffs. Has to be the hope!

Maybe fantasy footy can provide some cheer - though it usually doesn't!

Palmer hasn't scored in 17 I think now, I'm surprised so many still have him.
Was a worthy free hit one off. Having him permanently is the ultimate do the same thing and expect something different madness.

ps pick Fulham defensive coverage they said. Playing the worst ever Premier league team they said.

Southampton go 1-0 up.

Only just noticing no Mitoma or Minteh starting for Brighton. Not on too many teams, but they seemed like possible punts.

I don't even know who Ayari is that scored for them, was hoping it would be Welbeck when I saw they took the lead.

Newcastle attackers not reading the script yet.

Newcastle attack in insane form.
Playing terrible team at home.

Obviously 0-0 for first 30mins.

Dammit Cuna goal...such an obvious pick, but had to go Larsen didn't I.

Isak missing chances off Barnes and Murphy crosses in the space of a couple of minutes.

Bit better. Have both. Although Isak not as captain, so Salah needs to better this!

Had an option to go for Cunha but went for S Larsen. Off course ! S
Exactly. My mate forgot to make his transfers, he has 5 players playing... Yet he's outscoring me thanks to Murphy and Isak, who finally decides to turn up when I don't captain him

No Mitoma has pissed me off. Bruno coming on and doing nothing kept his 6pts on my bench last week. This week he's nowhere to be seen. Bloody game
