Crouch's goal wasn't even considered for the match of the day one. I'd say McFadden or Scholes.

Considering how high the ball was, Van Persie had no option but to hit the ball with his shin. The ball still flew in, showing he had an excellent connection.

Scholes' against villa was sheer class the fact that it hit the underside of the bar made it look all the better
I dunno it doesn't really add up, it looks like that in slow motion but the shot blew the net out. And RvP said it was his best and given some of the others he's got (eg v Blackburn) it would seem a bit odd to go for a misshit?
