First time I've been able to really watch him for a full 90 minutes, my verdict....

He's amazing!

Looks good, doesn't seem to have many problems "leading the line"

Sam#1, have you actually never seen him for 90 minutes? and now all of a sudden you want him signed up? I have seen him several times. He's also gone a mega long period in the league without scoring a goal. This spanish side did not impress me at all the way Germany and Netherlands did. Up against an embarrassing defence with their counter attacks. Russia deserves at least 2 more goals - just hope it won't have to happen against us. We all knew this is a rather good striker since he's rated top 3 in spain, so there's nothing new here to read exactly.

Oh, ffs, I'm not being serious.

Geez, as I said, this is the first time I've seen him play a full 90 minutes, and he's impressed me. What's wrong with that?

He does go long periods without goals, when injured. The only time that happened when he was actually playing was the year before this season, when he finished the season having created the most goals in the league as well as 16 league goals.

He's an absolutely complete striker. When he doesn't score, he sets up a goal.

Alright, it's just extremely hard to see who's being serious or not on this site anymore. It's so boring to be here among all these multi fans. The players seem to make a bigger importance than the team itself. Many people say they support this and that side, or neither side. We all know there are only two sides people support: Spain because of Torres, and now Villa. France because of Benzema, Ben Arfa and that other chap. Just read the matchday threads and see how ridiculous it is. I get sick. Well that's it, I'm gonna watch a game with a team I support now.

Now the euphoria of the game has worn of, I can be a little bit more objective and rational....

He's amazing, lets sign him! No seriously, he was good, really good. As I say, never really seen him before, but I was very impressed. I doubt we will try and sign him, but I just hope as hell Liverpool don't, but I think they will. Him and Torres. :nervous:

I agree, people like Sam are embarrassing on here..
Coming from the guy who says Danie Guthrie has more natural talent than Anderson.

You embarrass yourself with every post you fecking twat. People laugh at you, and mock you on a regular basis.

Who the feck is Guthrie?
He's a Liverpool player, who managed to play a couple of good games at Bolton while on loan last season. He's also a better player than Anderson and has more potential in our Scholesy's view, although he's yet to fulfil it.

Don't let the fact that in spite of being a year older than Anderson he couldn't come close to breaking into Liverpool's squad deceive you. He's a lot better.

Also, Modric is better too even though Scholesy's have seen him playing about three times.

Can anyone come up with a definition of footballing brain and a list of players who are in possession of one?

He should play for spurs..

Anyway, I first noticed him 5 years ago and been a big fan ever since. Was very good when Valencia won the uefa cup and was spain's best player in the wc in germany. Most underrated player in Europe by far. Great skill and vision, fantastic finisher.
