I don't mind paying £41 for CL games or PL games, but for CC and FA Cup, they should be reduced.Percentage cuts or not, £41 for a ticket is somewhat of a joke.

I would much prefer a good FA Cup tie to the CL TBH. Maybe not early rounds against lower division teams but against a PL club you get a great game. Some of the finest games at OT have been FA Cup ties.I don't mind paying £41 for CL games or PL games, but for CC and FA Cup, they should be reduced.
That's it the ACS has put both United and the visiting club in a win win position and it's the fans who have to stump up every time! They could have done...I seriously doubt it however. Especially at a time when every other club in the league is lowering/freezing prices/selling CC tickets for ten bob.
I had to pay 44.00 for that Coventry match it's beggars belief! That's what was said after the Coventry CC game (I think) a couple of seasons back, only for Coventry to come out and flatly deny it. At least that's how I remember it. Or am I imagining it? Anyone?
I was reading a Wolves forum and someone on there reckoned united wanted to charge them 35.00 but Jex Moxey went for the higher amount as it was more lucrative for the club.possibly it is just a excuse but I'm sure if wolves was given the choice of having 45% of 76000 tickets sold at £10-15 or 45% of 60000 tickets sold at £30-45 I'm not sure if they would agree to take such a cut.
I reckon it would have cost me 75.00 so I've knocked the CC on the head this season unless we get a decent home or away tie!Would cost me about £60 to go tonight.
Coventry were the first team to start ripping visiting fans off IIRC.I had to pay 44.00 for that Coventry match it's beggars belief!
Yep that was the first match where the ACS as compulsory!Coventry were the first team to start ripping visiting fans off IIRC.
I'd say that was about correct, and also what was announced at OT. I would've reckoned about 50k by a quick scan of the ground. Pretty impressive considering we weren't playing a top side, it was an early round, and the CC discount had been terminated.51k was reported on the BBC.
I'm considering it tooThat's it the ACS has put both United and the visiting club in a win win position and it's the fans who have to stump up every time!
If we get another home draw I think I'm going to opt out.
I can't justfy the expense this season.
It's the cup final thing that pisses me off.I'm considering it too
Especially given I never get an away, and now they're making the European aways trickier to get too
In fact they can feck off
You can only opt out of the CC ACS. FA Cup and European ties are still tied in whether you can go or not...You can opt out of the ACS now can't you? Don't think we can complain about that anymore.
It's the ridiculous prices that's the issue here.
I like to apply for the aways. You can opt out of the ACS now can't you? Don't think we can complain about that anymore.

I like to apply for the aways.
Therefore my ideal position is an away draw (and I chose not to go) or we get knocked out early on.
Last season I was screwing everytime we got a home draw, which we did at every round. We played Middlesborough, QPR, Blackburn & Derby, thats 4 x £35 = £140.00, to see the reserves play.
I did derby away and the final as well but I won't include them as they were my own choice.
I can't justify that this season.
if it means no away tickets from the club then so be it!
I don't mind paying for them though as they are good competitions. You can only opt out of the CC ACS. FA Cup and European ties are still tied in whether you can go or not...
True but I did manage 4-5 last season and have bagged one already this season.Hardly ever get twatting away tickets through the club anyways.
They had a bit of a boycott going on apparently.its a bloody piss take nearly every other club reduced their prices last night, mind you city were charging only £15 and £5 for kids and they got only 24,000 and they played a full team, and all their fans come from Manchester ( well known fact !! ) anyway i digress, when we played Valencia there were 74,000 with reduced prices and everyone sat round me looked like they were not regulars and all with kids, so surely we would have got a similar crowd last night giving those less fortunate a chance to see a game,
I reckon there about 2,000 wolves fans last night cos it seemed like only a third of the top tier was full but that is a good turn out compared to the 100 Fulham fans at the council house.
If just over 17million wolves fans turn up that would just about pay off the debt! That's the cost for Wolves fans tonight and apparently there's a boycott on.
Although United supporters are paying upwards of that mind.
Talksport are leading with it this afternoon.
Tickets sold, not attendance. No way there were anywhere near than many in the ground.51k was reported on the BBC.
Yes. I reckon around 15-20,000 no-shows who had tickets. And that's not including people like Imperial or Disbury who gave away their tickets for free so they wouldn't be wasted.Does tickets sold include those in the ACS, who wouldn't have bothered attending? I'm assuming so.
