Beautiful game. I really enjoyed. We might have just changed the team way too much. The players really did not know how to play together.

We were close to losing to Sunlun for the first time since 68. Maintaining a no-loss statistic and coming so close to not doing so causes me to be a tad relieved, yesh.

We didn't deserve to win today, but I'm certainly more dissapointed than relieved. Dropping points to Sunderland at home is not good enough.

I don't know, the performance has disturbed me much more than the relief of getting a draw.

And I'm sorry but we have to stop playing foster. He's almost cost us points before only for the rest of the team to pick up the pieces. This time it has cost us. He's made mistakes with the ball at feet, on crosses, with his poorly timed rushing out and poor covering of the near post.

It really damaged the teams morale after Berbatov's stunner gave us such impotus as did our excellent start to the second half. That goal completely changed the game. It was going to be attack vs defense until Foster changed the game.

aye, we've had trouble with sunderland over the last couple games and they came in off a 5-2 win v wolves, Bent with tons of confidence, Brucie inspiring his team to compete with us.

We didnt throw 2 points, I felt it was always going to be a tough one. team was change a little too much but with continential commitments we have to manage everyone minutes. Welbeck was a bit of a gamble imo but understood scholes, giggs change.

SAF needs to do his homework. How to play Berbs ? Our wingers ? Foster ? So many questions need to be answered.
He doesn't actually. He just needs to blow up his players on their inability to pass and Fosters ability to be a goal keeper.

I'm more relieved but lets hope VDS returns for our next game, i'm afraid i have no confidence in Foster although the whole team was disappointing.

Fergie must also take some responsibility for the number of changes he made and in particularly playing the two wide players in especially Wellbeck, sorry never been a fan of his.

foster gifted it to them to be fair, at 1-1 we were really going for it.

Can't complain about the second half. It was basically amazing.

We threw the game away with that bag-o-shite first half performance.

I dunno though. I'm just enjoying our games so much more this season. I've got my Manchester United back.

It's certainly a way different Utd than last season, we haven't done too poorly but to be honest I still think the Utd with Ronaldo was capable of better football. Nani hasn't shown the potential we all hoped he can provide. Valencia needs time. Obertan is still injured. Welbeck is a CF imo. and Tosic is a doubt that he'd get games here.

Bet you lot were not thinking of being relieved for a draw before the game.SAF paid no respect to Sunderland with his line up and it almost backfired no real reason to rest players.

the result is irrelevant. playing like shite on our own patch to fecking sunderland however isn't. 2 weeks for the lads to look themselves in the mirror and straighten things out. however for us, its two weeks of agonizing over the performance. fecking hate international breaks.

We should be beating them tbh.

But we were shit. Didnt even deserve a point. There was no urgency and Kieran Richardson is feckin left back and we dont even try to exploit it. And when Valencia comes on we dont even put the ball out there. Very odd.

Could be a really important point though.

If we had won that I could have sat back and watched the game on Sunday with relish now if it is a draw we stuffed the chance to make a gap on Liverpool and Chelsea.

extremely disappointed!!
was a poor performance just shows how much we need some creativity and someone to grab the game by the horns (ala Ronaldo-esque)

A kick on the backside. It was what we needed. Got carried away with overconfidence, as you can see in first half. Didnt work hard enough until when went behind and even beyond that. In a way, we need this kinda results to remind us we have to work hard for it. The Burnley game tought us a lesson on how we should play away, and this is for home games. Can be a good thing in the long run. I really hope so.

For a start the difference between a draw and a defeat is more than just 2 points. Getting beat, at home, the press would have had a field day. Morerelieved I think.

I'm more relieved than disappointed TBH. I don't even want to comment much on the first half, it was that bad. Second half we came out and were much better and we got ourselves back into the game, we looked like we were going to go for it then only for Foster to feck up yet again and Sunderland got back in front. 2 minutes from time, looking like we were going to lose I am very relieved we got that equaliser as I'd much rather take that than lose the whole three points.

Yeah, but it's already got to the point where I'd have been in shock if we didn't nick a goal in injury time.

We nearly fecking won it an' all

Now that WOULD have been taking the piss
It's the United way, though, isn't it?

A lot of great times, but they put you through the all sorts of emotions.
