Excuse me, I'm relaxed
I can only imagine he's gone to Schalke as no other top European side was interested... Odd transfer.

Still, got to give him credit for wanting to carry on at a good level rather than sign for a Saudi or MLS side. I still can't see it working out though- cultural gap between Madrid and the Ruhrgebiet is just too great...

Are you the one whispering to yourself?

VivaRonaldo7 : "Hey I have a secret"
VivaRonaldo7 : "Oh what is it?"
VivaRonaldo7 : "I think Raul will go to Liverpool"
VivaRonaldo7 : "Wow that's big news"
VivaRonaldo7 : "Yeah but its just whispers so don't tell anyone especially don't post it on redcafe because they might think you are an attention seeking Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime."

VivaRonaldo7 : "Well that's OK they already think that."
lol fairplay haha

It really doesn't feel right seeing him wearing a shirt other than Real Madrid's! He should have finished his career at Madrid.

Probably missing his racist friends up in the corner of the stadium and their little Madrid contingency.

Raul is a horrible, scummish creature.

It's not that random, I'm happy he's left that place. Accepting awards from Neo-Nazi groups and gesturing towards them, acknowledging their support and cause in Madrid is disgusting. Figo as well, the horrible man.

He probably will be home sick.

He really was a weird one..

from the 2001/02 season onwards till 07/08 he didn't score more than 11 goals once in the league, with a total of 53 goals in 194 matches.

Yet from in 08 and 09 he had some kind of weird renaissance and scored 36 league goals in 74 matches.

He was of course sidelined last season, and mostly a sub, so those statistics are out the window...

He played as a left winger when fat Ronaldo signed for Madrid

9 goals in 17 games for Schalke now in the Bundesliga. Has scored two hat tricks. That's two goals more than Huntelaar who started very well. Raúl chose the wise path, starting badly and working your way up.

2 goals as well in the CL. Hasn't played in the cup. Happy for the man.

Not bad, I saw him on the CL games against Benfica and he's still a very useful player, extremely intelligent. Gotta tell Boss, Raul non Albiol was an amazing player and still is a tremendous professional.

Absolutely wonderful for them tonight against Inter, scored the first and then created the second with a sublime through ball.

Still has it after all these years and was a joy to watch

Raul looks absolutely amazing up front. Who says you're finished if you're a striker with no pace?

Btw gotta give credit to Raul, many players of his class and stature would've joined MLS or those Middle Eastern League to earn some extra money in their last years but he decided to remain at the Top Level even at this age. Great Professional.
