    Possible:
    De Gea
    AWB - Lindelof - Maguire - Shaw
    McTominay - Matic
    Greenwood - Bruno - Mata/Diallo
    Cavani

Subs: Pogba - Fred - Van de Beek - Diallo - Shoretire

I don't want to lose any games, but I want us to keep the first eleven fresh for the dippers.

Surely we'll go all-out here, field a second team-lineup against Leicester, and then go all-out again against Liverpool?

This is a winnable game and the way Chelsea are going we need to hold on to the 2nd spot. So we need the three points tomorrow.

Very poor. If you have something to say then say it. It's very easy and lazy just to post an emoji when someone doesn't think the same as you.
Like Fred, Bailly is just ridiculed by some every time he plays, regardless of how well they play. Grass is always greener to some people.

I don't understand this fascination over Bailly. If he was an upcoming defender, 21, then yeah, but he's 27 and such a fecking liability

If you go with the notion of playing a pure second string against Leicester, and take it as read no one except the GK can play consecutive games, then it's actually quite hard to make that work without resorting to Shoretire, Galbraith etc, even with the few injuries we have.

I guess we may see 1 or 2 players substituted at half-time tomorrow, to leave them capable of playing Tuesday.

The defence is a bit of a poser. Playing a pure second string back line with Bailly and Tuanzebe in the center seems to invite disaster even more than necessary. Maguire/Tuanzebe against Villa/Liverpool, and Lindelof/Bailly against Leicester?

That's why it's called a second team, would gladly give the points to Leicester if it meant the we are fresh for Liverpool,
If we start with Telles and Williams we are guaranteed to lose.

    I reckon he either

    a) has addiction issues that are being kept quiet

    or

    b) he wants out so has been frozen out by Smith
I’m guessing You were one of the ones who was saying Pogba had kicked his last ball for Utd when he was out injured last season

Somehow this feels like a massive game for us , since a win will mean almost guaranteed 2nd and CL qualification, with the added benefit of resting players for Wolves, but a loss will mean its abit nervy again.

We need this win to play a second string team vs Leicester

They say he has a pretty bad case of ligma at the moment

    Vs Villa and Liverpool:
    Henderson
    AWB - Lindelöf - Maguire - Shaw
    McTominay - Fred
    Rashford - Bruno - Pogba
    Cavani

    Vs Leicester
    De Gea
    Williams - Bailly - Tuanzebe - Telles
    van de Beek - Matic
    James - Mata - Martial
    Greenwood

I think if we win today, we will effectively secure top 4 spot, we can rest key players vs Leicester then go full strength vs Liverpool.

3pts today, will be a great start to the run in. Foxes on Tues, I'd rotate a few , and play a stronger side on Thursday. Get 2 draws out of those games would be ok. One win and draw better...

So important to win this one, gives us a 7 point lead on Leicester before we play them, and a 13 point lead on Liverpool before we play them.

Bit of a shame James is out for this run of games, he would be one we could slot in as a rotation option.

    I like your thinking

 I felt like I was the mental one when they said he would leave by Jan and I said he would last atleast until the summer and that he really was injured. They said his cast was fake . This place can be crazy some times.

100% agree with this. Hope that Ole agrees and rests the players v Leicester. Full strength against the Dippers to end their top 4 hopes.

I can’t imagine we would ever play a weakened team against Liverpool in the league. It has to be against Leicester - the sequencing works as well.

Bruno and Maguire will start every game, albeit they may not play the whole 270 minutes.

Given our great record at Villa Park and our brilliant away for this season it wouldn't surprise me for a moment if we... lose! It would be fairly typical of our season - lost fewer games (so far) than anyone in the league, including City, but have thrown away very silly points

This one would be an infuriating game to drop points in with the games coming up. Really hope we just go out there, strong team, and get the win no matter how we do it.

Nothing will be as bad as Sheff Utd
