Rumors of Hannibal starting and possibly Lindelof Evans midfield and late check if Amrabat, Varane, mount can be in the squad? Yeah I'm gonna shift my "start the good run" by a week if so...
It says a lot about how messed up our luck is that I can't be sure you've done a typo there...

We need to find a way to start picking up results regardless of injuries because by the looks of it there’s new ones popping up on a weekly basis and aren’t going away any time soon.

I hope Burnley doesn't have a good midfield. If they do and we play Casemiro, Ericksen and Bruno it could be along night. Unless Casemiro ups his level, there are probably few midfields worse than ours.

Now, once we get Amrabat, Mount and Mainoo back, we might have on of the better midfields.

Looks like Hannibal’s starting if rumours are true, most likely in place of Eriksen.

Win! By any means necessary. We can’t be losing to Burnley, especially when they’re managed by Vincent fecking Kompany.
There can be only 1 b@ld fr@ud and it should be Vincent fecking Kompany. Getting a win tonight is a must.

If true, then it all comes down to how Hannibal plays. If he has a rough night, then our midfield is probably worse than if Ericksen started.

I'll bet ETH is trying very hard to not start Ericksen 3 matches in 7 days. He should be doing the same for Cas but I know that's not possible at the moment.

A broken clock is right twice a day. let’s hope he’s just another chancer.
Yep, I hope he's wrong. God help us if we have to play two of Maguire/Lindelof/Evans. Even Burnley will run rings around that defence.

Just get the win. Don’t think I could take 4 defeats on the bounce. Can’t even remember the last time that even happened if turns out to be the case? I don’t know who is back from the injured players as ETH didn’t give much away in his presser but rumours seem to state that Martinez is out and Hannibal Mejbri is going to make his 1st league start. Will include the injured players on my bench anyway.

    Onana

    Dalot - Lindelof - Evans - Reguilon

    Casemiro - H.Mejbri

    Pellistri - B.Fernandes - Rashford

    Hojlund

Bayindir, Varane, Maguire, Amrabat, McTominay, Mount, Eriksen, Garnacho, Martial

    Burnley 1-2 Manchester United

Amrabat’s availability will be key. If he’s fit enough to start or play a decent chunk of the game I think we’ll be alright. Providing he hits the ground running of course.

Read again what I said under that tweet.
Why even post it? Do you think there’s any chance someone in the know at United has made a Twitter account called “United insider”?

If Varane is not ready, the choise must be between Evans and McTominay in the central defense. I would prefer McT, because Evans looks really slow.

Clearly he got the AWB news from somewhere seeing as he called it first. Doesn't hurt to speculate. Now if he starts to be consistently wrong then he will be rightly ignored.

Edit : Doesn't hurt for us to speculate. Not him.

It's possible. It'd just be some no mark security guard at Carrington or somebody on the office staff there or whatever, who will get shitcanned as soon as the club figure out who it is. Doesn't exactly have to be a member of the first team squad.

"Martinez is out for today's game" is specific info, so pretty easy to figure out if they're full of shit or not come squad announcement.

You’re right but they delete the tweet and people just forget about them being wrong all the time. I’ve seen that exact account talking absolute shit numerous times.

Hannibal starting is great news if true, Eriksen is like playing with 10 men once you hit the 20 minute mark. As for Evans, Martinez has had a crap start to the season so again, not the end of the world.

Agree on Martinez, I just don't think Evans is up to it anymore. Hannibal has shown nothing to suggest he's good enough to be starting for us.

Well if everyone was fit he wouldn't...but if it's a choice between McTom, a tired Eriksen or Hanniba,l then he is more than capable of starting against Burnley.

Happy for Hannibal if the news is true. Hope he does well. About time we gave these youngsters a go. Would be nice to see Dan Gore get some chances too. They will never be good enough if you never give them a chance.

What chances has he had to show he's good enough? The fact is that McTominay (who has actually had the chance) is shit, Eriksen is finished and Cas is also finished. I'll be delighted if Hannibal gets the chance as it's long overdue considering how shit the rest of the so called 'senior' midfielders are.
