Feels like we’ve lost. A draw before the game seemed a good result but looking back now, we should be buzzing with all three points. Would have been a crucial win.

Really gutted. Could have finally won after all those years. Really negative way to go into a Juventus game Tuesday.

Poor in the first half, but we were the better side in the second half. Gutted to see us concede at the death, but no complaints with the draw.

    It really does.
On the plus side we were at least the equal of Chelsea on the day and the boys showing significantly more fight. Played well at times.

Much more like it but we paid the price for time wasting.
I don't get time wasting in football at all, it puts more even more pressure during the extra time.

A lot of ball watching going on by Utd from when Luiz won the header to when the ball hit the net.

Terrible game management in the closing stages, why didn’t we just try to keep calm and retain possession instead of lumping it forward and trying to grab a third?

Chelsea (the saviours of football) fan.
To be fair, the stats made morata look amazing. But it’s pretty clear now why he had so few minutes at real compared to others. Knob end drops like a sack of spuds when the wind blows.
He had one nice moment (where he turned Smalling only to have a tame shot) but he seems to take every opportunity to come out of the box. Giroud is limited but he does not hide.

I'd honestly rather play with a front three of Hazard, Willian and Pedro.

This game and result is a carbon copy of the game here in lvgs second season where Lingard scored a stunning goal and we faffed q counter at the end and conceded a shit equalizer to costa in injury time. This place is cursed and so are we against Chelsea. Had the shoe been on the other foot no way would we have drawn it at the end.

    Yeah apologies.

Absolute no mark should be punished. But he won't.
They might charge him if they can employ a body language expert to decipher what going into the United technical area and fist-pumping right in front of Mourinho means. Won't hold my breath though.

Not really. Rashford was a good three minutes, 30 seconds for each goal, probably a minute or two for the messing around with the subs, plus a minute or two of other stoppages.
Rashford and the subs were the same thing. Be surprised if that took 3 minutes

It was probably correct - half a dozen substitutions, any injuries, plus a couple of minutes time wasting.
No way was 6 minutes an accurate amount of injury time. We got done there, Mike Dean did that for a laugh, he can't just have a normal game, he has to do something to force a conversation about himself and his decisions. fecking loves the attention.

Six minutes is probably right if you account for every stoppage in this game. However, in the real world, one injury for cramp plus six subs has never resulted in six minutes being added in other games, which is why it was bollocks. You only see six minutes in absolutely exceptional cases otherwise, and this was by no means an exceptional game in terms of wasted time.

I mean, when a small team is in the lead against a big team the keeper takes 45 seconds to take a goal kick, starting in the 50th minute. Multiply that by ten and think of how many times six minutes are added in reality, and then today with one injury and a normal amount of subs amounts to six minutes.

If refs were consistent in adding proper time (which means adding more than ten minutes in certain games where time-wasting is rampant), then I've no problem with this. You just know though that there'll be a time-wasting shitfest during this weekend and we'll get four minutes added on, as we usually do.

It's pretty standard that added time for each sub is 30 seconds though, a minute if it takes longer. Plus 30 seconds for goals and cards.

6 minutes doesn’t happen that often, and there wasn’t much unusual other than maybe an extra minute for the messy sub situation

Yet another game of 2 halfs....Why the hell cant we be on the front foot right from the word go?We were just pathetic in the first half,we were horrendous....But as soon as we got the equaliser we just transformed completely. Our football was just brilliant to watch....Pogba,Martial,Lukaku were just terrific in the 2nd half.Delighted for Martial,Hopefully this will give him the confidence to really get back to his best.

All in all it’s a good point for us.If we keep playing like how we played in the 2nd half we”ll finish top 4 this season...

You can do that, I'm also fecking fuming. Where the feck did those 6 minutes come from? Mike Dean is a twat.
Well 2 minutes is usually the go-to add on time for most games, plus another 4 with the silly substitution kerfuffle and then we get 6.Magic.

Anyway, its not Dean's fault that again United try to outsmart themselves and typically failing.
Why were we constantly giving the ball back to Chelsea ?
Just play it short from the goal kicks.

We showed great grit and determination in the second half, the result was a kick in the teeth in the end. But the performance is more important for me in the long run. We seemed down and out this season and have not played well at all. The last two games we have stood up after going down and shown our qualities. Even Lukaku put in a shift in the second half and made himself busy. We should take confidence in the performance even if the result wasn't the one we wanted.

Our defence is still shaky and needs to be improved but we can kick on from here and not expect as doom and gloom of a season as feared a month ago.

Well is a shame not to win but I actually enjoyed that second half, which makes a nice change. Seemed like a fair result.

Shite 1st the better team 2nd, it’s all a little bizarre but difficult to separate Mata and Martial for MOTM in my opinion. Lukaku was poor again, better in the 2nd half to be fair but annoyingly immobile at times.

Gives me a little more confidence going into the game on Tuesday.

I’d have to agree with that. Giroud can be a great impact sub, but as you say , limited. Morata though, dear oh dear. I’d seen very much of him, and when he was linked with us I looked him up and his goal tally compared to the amount of minutes he had was very good. But I guess stats really don’t paint the whole picture. I was honestly a little pissed we got Lukuku and you got morata. What a difference a year makes. Now I think we both bought unwisely .
