Another big match.. another good result.. without Pog, McT and Rashford.

Woody somehow manages to keep shifting the blame from himself to the manager every fecking time.. its actually quite impressive.

All we need is a Chelsea-Spurs draw next week and for us not to trip on ourselves

And Bruno had put Martial through in first half.

Bruno assisted a goal, hit the post with a great free kick, good passing with ball at his feet.

You were saying? You see how this game of rubbishing criticism after a good moment doesn't do anyone a favor?
Not really. My point was that, at that specific time, Martial should've been the last attacker to be subbed, and I stand by that. He won us the game.

Dug that one out, a good win at a crucial time, 3 points now away from Chelsea in the table who are fourth.
    Keep going lads.

Bruno Fernandez man of the match. Lively, pressing, some nice passes, movement, quality. Feel like he is a missing piece of the puzzle.

Thought Igalho was going to get himself a debut goal.

Great result. Hopefully we can push on now and get some consistency. Spurs coming up soon too.

Chuffed for Bruno to get his first assist and Harry his first league goal, however there is no denying that he was very lucky to stay on the pitch. We so nearly got a dream start for Odion right at the end as well.

Bailly did himself plenty of good to night. I'd love for him to make it at United. His determination and fight are just what we need. You could tell Maguire likes playing alongside him.

He was a full foot offside. No arguments and no complaints. All 20 clubs wanted VAR, they’ve all got it, you can’t have VAR and give the goals.
Even with the 10 cm leeway, he'd have been another 5-10 cm off. I don't see what everyone's complaining about? His foot is a foot long which is 30cm and five cms were onside.

So the season after next everyone's going to be asking for 50cm, and then after that we'll be talking about daylight, and then after that teams are going to be complaining about goal hanging and unfair advantages to the attacking team, and we'll be back where we started.

As Paul Newman would say in Slapshot, "A man has a right to defend himself." In this case, protect himself.

What was Maquire meant to do? Let himself be trampled? Contact with Maquire's right foot was already there when his leg was still bent.

Great win. Shame the Chelsea moans about decisions are hijacking that a bit.

I know a Chelsea fan who is utterly obsessed with the idea that football is corrupt against them, seemingly using that Barcelona game over a decade ago as his alibi.

Oh it's corrupt..Giroud by the current rules was offside, but noo it's corrupt etc.

We've given ourselves one last chance of getting in the mixer with 12 games left - especially with 5th potentially to play for.

Good win, but lots of luck on our side.

I think we showed fight, grit and had some decent moves.
Poor positions a lot so that is something to work on.
    Same with our attacking patterns.

Yeah I will hold my hands up and admit that the decisions definitely went in our favour tonight but big three points after the results this weekend. Will be interesting to see whether Bruno can help us in these games where we have struggled to break down teams.

Would I be right in thinking that three of our players are banned for the Watford game due to the five yellow cards accumulated this season

Is a foot the length of an actual foot?

    Who knew?

I'll never waste money on a tape measure ever again!
Actually, a foot is probably shorter than the length of a well-built footballer's foot. I'd say his foot is probably closer to 35cms.

Don't think so. I think it changes to ten yellows after the new year. So five yellows up until the Boxing Day fixtures, and then it's ten yellows for a ban.

Apparently the threshold is extended to 8 at this point in the season.

Always nice to beat that mob ,especially at their own ground.
Bruno looks like the quality player we have been missing, he will only get better.
    Two good headed goals.
Don't get all the fuss about VAR, both Chelsea goals were correctly ruled out.
We just might rescue something from this season yet.
