We just have to not be over-awed by the occasion, don't be intimidated by the Coventry players' ability to find teammates with the ball, and when they go up a couple goals early, just don't let our heads drop. We can take it to penalties and then it's anyone's game.
I'd be more worried if we went into a 2 goal lead.

This is tournament ball. I don't care how we win, so long as we do...

    Onana
    Wan-Bisaka - Kambwala - Maguire - Dalot
    Mount - Mainoo
    Garnacho - Bruno - Rashford
    Hojlund
I don't want to see Casemiro out there right now. His legs are done.

Our 5th Fa Cup semi-final over last 10 seasons:

15/16 - beat Everton and then Palace in the final
17/18 - beat Spurs and then lost to Chelsea in the final
    19/20 - lost to Chelsea
22/23 - beat Brighton and then lost to City in the final

Mount - Mainoo - Bruno is making me miss the famous John O'Shea - Darron Gibson midfield, or even O'Shea - Giggs. Feck it, I'd rather watch Djemba x2 - Liam Miller (rip)

Wouldn`t mind benching Rashford as well. He has been ok lately but nothing more. Amad deserves a start and Antony has shown some decent form lately.

It's time these players actually showed some class and skill by demolishing Coventry, but it won't happen. I see them running around again not having a clue who is supposed to be doing what. Absolutely no confidence we will win. Of course, I hope I'm wrong and we cruise to a 5-0 victory.

If anything, (some of) the players have shown how good they are, to be where we are despite the complete lack of organisation. It is mostly up to the staff to get the organisation right on he pitch.

People can get complacent about cup competitions - id love another cup final and think us vs Chelsea would be a good one.

Think they'll go hard at us in the first 10 and get a daft goal. We'll then take control and do a lot of messing about with the ball but no scoring, with our fans getting progressively more vocal and angry. We'll then concede a second in the dying minutes and the atmosphere will be horrific.

If Newport can run as close, I give Coventry a decent chance of winning. They will have 20+ attempts in this game, and only our manager seems to think that's not a cause of concern or worry that it exponentially increases your chances of losing games!

Coventry won't finish in top 6 of Championship so this is most important game of their season. Probably one of the biggest since their 1987 Fa Cup win.

We're really poor atm so they do have a chance. Who knows how this plays out but one thing I do not expect is convincing and dominant performance from us.

Even though we have well documented huge gaps in our midfield, I think the large Wembley pitch may well help us. Rashford and Garnacho should have room to run in to on any counter attacks. Casemiro needs to run or be replaced by Mount or McT. The rest pick themselves from what is available.

I’m going to be shocked if this is even a slightly comfortable win. It feels like we can make anyone look good.

If we make Coventry City look like prime Barcelona, we may have to bring Ole if that's what it takes to take over for ETH.

    That’s Chelsea utterly fecked

He’s hardly going to make any big calls against his employers team
Yep. 115 charges FC. Remember when they got a European ban and got it overturned? They have CAS and the English FA in their pockets.

Meanwhile Everton and Forrest get point deductions for small infractions.

Why do I feel so unconfident about this

The gigantic gaps in our midfield are going to be exacerbated at Wembley. On the other hand, we should be able to score goals against a Championship side. But somehow I barely even feel we're favourites, which is ridiculous really because of course we are. But I'm worried

Whenever we're in this kind of a slump, and the season feels like it's heading towards an inevitable crashing end, then I don't feel confident about any matches. Not even against a championship side.

I imagine we will win some of the remaining games, and hopefully this will be one of them, but I expect even those games to be hard work and an uncomfortable win.

I'm expecting a one goal margin either way, or even for it to go to penalties (in which case we'll lose the shoot out). Hopefully we can edge it in normal time or ET.

Definitely Ellis Simms who is 5 goals 2 assists in 5 games in the FA Cup. Haji Wright will probably be a menace for our fullbacks as well.

Haji has 15 goals and 6 assist this year. He has been in decent form recently for Coventry and USA. So I expect him to be flying, but I still think we should win comfortably. But we find a way to make things tough on us.

Garnacho apologized for liking the ETH criticizing post on twitter. Interesting.

We seem to be a cup team under ETH. So think we’ll reach another final. Even if we win 5-0 against these wouldn’t get carried away like some people will. We’ll probably still lose the next league game so it won’t be a ‘turned corner’

We must try and make it difficult for Coventry.

Maybe wishful thinking or a false sense of security on my part but I think we'll have a comfortable but unimpressive 2 or 3 nil win.
