Greenwood isn't exactly the run at the defender type. It would make more sense for Martial to be up against Baines.Baines vs Greenwood though
Dont you think it'd be Matic holding?Could be.
Something like this maybe:
DDGThat lineup puts a lot of pressure on our fullbacks to provide width when necessary though.
AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw
Mctominay
Fred Matic
Bruno
Greenwood Martial
I'm confident AWB can handle it, Shaw not so much.
I think martial and greenwood will split and Bruno push through the middle a bit. With that midfield we should have a lot of control to get shaw or AWB forward as wellLack of width might be an issue though
Because he usually does..he is just a nervy player, not built to play under the 'Man Utd' pressureWhy?
Cant see Ole moving away from his favoured 4231, but with our lack of wingers, this could be a short term fix.Preparing for Pogba and eventually Grealish. Interesting formation, Shaw and AWB have to be on point today for this to work.
I prefer when they shit on us. All this attention is making me nervous. Hopefully the players keep their heads and continue their decent run of form.Sky are really hyping us up.
You could argue that in attack, with Martial and Greenwood driffting wide and Bruno playing through the middle, it could almost resemble a 433.Diamond. It was a while when we saw that formation. I am 433 fan but i like diamond
Yeah their next real toughie is home to City in 3 weeksChelsea got easier fixtures I think. Thus we really need to raise our game to get ahead.
Keane at least being a bit realistic.I prefer when they shit on us. All this attention is making me nervous. Hopefully the players keep their heads and continue their decent run of form.
We have played 3 man defense a lot already. Not a massive difference. It seems like an unnecessary risk going with the diamond at this stage of the season.
I hope it works out or the Ole Out crowd will have a field day.
Yeah and don't forget Richarlison is dangerous in the air tooBit nervous about Calvert-Lewin on Lindelof.
Tough away game to be fair. Everton are in decent form and traditionally their fans are always up for it when we come to town. If we win, that would be great. I expect a draw though.Looking forward to the match. Hoping we're not in for yet another false dawn...
what’s up with the crusty scouse turd?Souness seems a bit upset. Bless him!
