I know people love "throw in the youngsters", but it really does matter the atmosphere you throw them in to. Throwing them in now is literally the worst atmosphere to throw them into.
I agree, but they certainly won't be given a chance next season if they they don't prove themselves before that. We shouldn't play our U21 but we should slowly include some of the younger players. Matic, Mata etc. they're done, no reason to play them anymore

Can't possibly try for Ralf, he makes them train in the dark boo hoo.

Fecking fine them and give their wages to the fans who paid to watch them or to charity. Its the only way it will hurt them.

At least Juan Mata came in and showed some fight and quality, in the brief time he was on the pitch.
Matic was arguably our best player for 50 minutest.
Two oldies, one of who will be gone at the end of the season and the other might leave us as well.
Well pasta their sell by date, but where’s the passion, fight and quality that’ll replace them?
The common things with Mata, Matic (and Ronaldo Varane) are that they are title winning team minded players, they know Man utd should not drop points against Everton.

Some players like Maguire, awb, fred, telles, even bruno fernandes etc are still low-table team minded, their random booting away is just one of the main habits of low-table team players. players from lower table teams need a mentality change to adjust to a title winning team (even rio ferdinand needed that when he moved from Leeds to Man utd), while there are nobody in the team in our present team to tell them to change. When more than half of our team don't have a "strong team mentality", we arent a strong team then

Sancho is a 21 year old in a dysfunctional, awful, team. His form improved at one point this season and has now dropped again. To be making these verdicts is nothing short of reactionary emotional stuff. Especially when he has been among the most productive players for his position in Europe in multiple seasons at such a young age.
Good players stand out even in dysfunctional teams. He stood out in the Bundesliga because of the awful defending. 34 year old Seamus Coleman had no problem dealing with him. We should move him on but we won't. He is the new Martial FC.

Garbage but we gave up on the season in autumn when we retained ole for far too long and didn't hire conte on a short term deal. Having said that rangnick is still massively underwhelming, we have no style of play and the only player to have improved under hom is fred

I don't know what "he's the new martial FC" means.

No one is standing out in this team. Good players struggle in dysfunctional teams despite your 90s action hero one liners. Sancho player well with Dortmund in europe too, he didn't just have good performances in the bundesliga. United is just shite.

Sure, when you have time to actively block a shot there's skill involved, but I'm talking about these sort of situations where all you can do is to hope the ball hits you. Standing 1ft to the right wouldn't have been better before the shot was taken so there was nothing wrong with his positioning, he didn't have time to move his body enough in the 2 tenths he had after the shot was taken either so I'm really struggling to see what he could have done better.
He could start by not being the guy who is always the folly. He is everything that Virgil Van Dyke is not, yet is paid nearly 10k quid a week more than him. His highlight reel of failures is extensive.

    Idiots blaming Ralf.
Look at the squad he’s got to play with.
Look what he has available on the bench.
He doesn’t have the option not to include Rashford and Pogba, who don’t deserve to be on the bench, never mind start.
There’s only Ronaldo with experience up front and at 37 he has his limitations.
    No back up strikers.
Cavani is permanently unavailable for selection.
With no McTominey available, Pogba having checked out and Matic just about holding on, his midfield options are very narrow.
We have a physically weak team, who struggle to win tussles and get bounced off the ball far too easily.
    Bruno is totally erratic.
    Harry McGuire.
Pep or Klopp couldn’t muster up anything positive with this bunch.

Everton have a really tricky run in. I bet they wished they could play United every week. It has some competition this season but that must be the worst i've seen us play. Just an abject performance. Embarassing.

Sancho has certainly gone backwards lately, he was slow to get going then he had a few decent, but nothing spectacular, games, now he's 'gone down a rabbit hole' for me. Mind you he's not on his own, but with greenwood, martial etc. gone and Rashford struggling, he should be the 'wide go to man', but he just looks disinterested.

We’re in free fall now are we not? Whats changed? We are awful, absolutely awful and Rangnick hasnt done anything to change that.
The players are not playing for him. Obviously that’s on them but I think it’s a fact at this stage.

The sooner the clear out begins, the better.
Pogba will be gone unless the club are stupid enough to throw the bank at him, in a desperate bid to retain him.
    Similarly with Lingard.
Just get rid of them both. Let them go.
Cavani and Mata are also out of contract and will be gone.
Matic, with one year left on his contract, could be released or might call it quits and move off for one last gig elsewhere. Walking football league?
Then we need to start weeding out the non performers, the overhyped and the sub par players.
Rashford should be on that list, but the priority should be getting the midfield and forward line sorted.
Never mind the CB and FB situation. We can’t replace most of the squad in one or two windows.
If we’re me, I’d concentrate on getting two or three central and defensive midfielders and a couple of out and out strikers in. Then take it from there.

    That?

Our defensive free fall was arrested and we began to create more chances, many of them wasted. We definitely got better. You must be a masochist to want Solskjaers reign to continue

I never said I wanted Ole back, I questioned if we have gained anything by replacing him with Rangnick, if what your watching is then fair enough, it’s not for me. He hasn’t addressed how shit we are, simple as.

they should be ashamed of themselves to put in the performances they have, need to clean house before anyone will be able to move us forward.

He will never not be that if people have a go at him for bs like this.

Elanga is fecking woeful! He sums up this RR tenure perfectly.
I agree, yeah, he is still young, yeah he hasn't had many first team games & yeah he has done ok so far but Greenwood seems a far better player than him, Elanga is nearer in level to Welbeck than he is to Rooney if you ask me, I really can't imagine him being our star striker in 3 or 5 years time.

Sancho’s inability to take someone on around the outside is becoming a growing problem.
Not much of a concern, imo.
Main problem is that he's usually very isolated, difficult to perform at the highest level when there's literally no one else in the team doing it. Neither fullbacks is offering much in terms of overlaps and they aren't exactly intelligent on or off the ball either. He needs movement around him, someone comfortable on the ball that he can play off.

Losing to Everton won’t be a massive shock.
For all those deluded fans who thought it was going to be an easy win, read my post before kick off! (Above)

We are a very poor team. If the season started a few weeks ago, we would be in a relegation battle. Utd are the team everyone wants to play. We are a fecking shambles! If Utd are not careful, Anfield could be double figures!

Yeah sure let's move on a talented 21 year old after one disappointing season under crap management. Christ on a bike.
