How some players have consistently stunk up the joint for years since Fergies final years and escape any sort of serious scrutiny while getting rewarded with extensions for 'playing for the badge' while the players possessing the most quality in the squad are regularly dragged over the rakes and destroyed continuously and singled out in the press ad-nauseam

The double standards and leeway afforded to certain players because of their nationality is ridiculous and is a reason why we've allowed so much dross to become club fixtures. The current rot isn't anything new...

I'm finding it difficult to find words to describe this atrocious performance, today.
Everyone that has anything to do with recruiting players must be fired. The ongoing influx of toxic moody players that perform when they want to is disturbing. I think Ole is the person to turn this all around.

I agree with Ole, the club will be competing for the title in a couple years.

Looking at that pre-game interview I'd say Ole has been told he's being let go.

The way he sounded and looked was dejected, and without influence.

This may sound odd, but to a certain degree he's an observer at this point, and perhaps feels it's not his mess. Next season will be his mess!

Definitely not after all the huffing and puffing about backing him greatly in the summer the clubs been briefing these past few weeks
    Wouldn’t bank on it.

Ed seems guided by the back pages of the red tops. If they stick the knife in he’ll be gone.

    Bollocking about fluently.
Two times the crossbar and two chances one for Jones and one for Rashford both of which were sitters but didn't even make it near target - and all over our offense seems void of creativity often just attempting long shots or hail Mary passes even when there were people free out wide with plenty of space. All in all they seem too obsessed with either pushing through the middle or taking the shot for themselves - lacking both the vision and the cool required to find that free man better positioned. Every time they went for either the shot, the long pass, the random cross or the impossible through ball there were better options - and even McTominay's goal was just a fluke with the goalkeeper making a total mess of himself.

In our midfield Matic was totally invisible and Sanchez decided once more to go for minimal effort just jogging about seeming more interested in flirting with opposition players than taking them on. Phil Jones did his best in defense but unfortunately his best isn't even good enough to warrant him a first-team spot in a mid-table team even far less within a top side - and Shaw was unlucky that his one slip-up ended up costing us a goal. Not too impressed with DeGea in that situation either because it was a poor finish. In general he's too prone to just making himself a big target while dropping low hoping the ball will randomly hit him rather than staying focused on the ball attempting to consciously intercept - and he's got insane reflexes and agility so he doesn't need that approach either. I'm pretty sure he would have snatched that finish and a couple more that he's let in lately had he not just thrown himself like that.

All in all our entire team was sub-par with only Lindelof and Pogba providing decent performances - the first our only reliable defender and the latter doing his best and being unlucky not to hit the net (despite being surrounded by players who were clearly off their game for most of the match). Things stepped up when Dalot, Herrera and Chong entered the field but it was too late for them to make any real impact and though they all added some flair to our play I feel those subs should have been made closer to half-time and also with Jones being the one replaced not Lindelof.

We need to give up on Matic and Sanchez and find them new employers because they're not into this - no drive whatsoever totally void of passion - and even though I really like his enthusiasm Jones just isn't good enough not even as a squad player or a substitute he's a complete menace at the level United should be aspiring towards.

Ed must hang his head in shame and give the football side things to someone like Luis Campos

I really hate all this negatively, but what's to be positive about ?
I've been offered tickets for Cardiff and would like to take my grandson for his first visit, but if we play like we did today, he might not want to go again !
I'm tempted to have a rant, but it's already in hand, BUT surely the club now realise this squad needs breaking up, not just the 5 in, 6 out BS, it's a much bigger task.
