Would at the very least like to see Rashford get a run out in this game, my only disappointment from the opening two games is that he hasn't managed to get off the bench.

I think the team will be the same XI that started v Southampton.
I am in agreement with all of this, elvis. Sadly, regarding Rashford, I'll doubt we'll see him get any game time at all until late September when we face Northampton in the League Cup. I'm desperate for my Rashford fix.

So i'm off in a few minutes to Hull......i'm currently in London and want to watch the Tottenham vs Liverpool match in a pub later........i can't wait for the game

We've won our first three league games of the season only once (2011-2012) since the 2006-2007 season and to go with a win in the international break would be also good for the mood here in the forum :)

Currently in the south of France. They most likely do not have skysports here however which channel here in France could possibly show the game? Any help appreciated, desperate to watch the game..
Usually it will be on Canal + Sport

It's pretty easy to watch PL football in France.

You might need to ask the bar staff, politely, to put it on, but it shouldn't be a problem. You could even go round a few bars in the afternoon and ask them if they are showing the match this evening, just to be sure.

Soonish, and Bailly. I reckon Mourinho might have originally had plans to pair the two of them, but Blind has (deservedly) won him over and it makes more sense to always put Blind with one of the other two.

Get wifi and watch it on your phone? Or walk to the nearest town/village or set of bars, there is usually an English pub at least that will show it. Usually you will see a board outside saying the fixtures they are showing there etc
Watching PL football in France has become a bit of an obstacle course of late. SFR bought the rights which had always been held by Canal + up until now. SFR only diffuse the matches on their channel SFR Sport 1. You can only watch this if you're an SFR subscriber in some way. Then there's the next problem SFR Sport is only available on actual TV if you live in a sizeable town or city where SFR (or their parent company Numericable) have put down the cables needed to receive TV; You can't watch it if you're an SFR subscriber who's ultimate phone connection comes through Orange lines. So you have to watch it on your phone or tablet and that's not that great. I'm currently trying to get an MHL cable for my Galaxy tablet to project the image onto the TV, long wait though..

So when do you think Smalling will be starting, and in place of who?
Why change things now?? That wouldn't make any sense. Apart from the Rooney fiasco, Jose has shown that he is not one for sentiment. I can't see how Smalling would improve things and bringing him in now would purely be on sentiment. Bailly/Blind is the way to go...unbeaten so far and looking solid. Start him against Northampton.

It's great always playing before City to keep the pressure on them. Just hope we get a good victory with some good figures in the goals for column.

I'm going for a 2-1 or 3-1 to United though.

yes. If I had to play them both. Think Rashford is the better 9.
Martial seemed to get frustrated on the wings. He does not look all that happy there this season either.
He starts creative moves when he drops deep too. I also see he is starting a good pitch understanding with pogba. A year of two from now a front 4 of Rashford Martial Mkhitaryan Memphis/Januzaj could be fantastic

Do you have a smart tv? If so, download TV Cast for your tablet/phone and also on your tv...it's a screen mirroring app and it's fecking great...I watch all my streams through my phone and cast it to the telly...you can still use your phone as well while its casting...

Yeah, all i know is some places and especially english run pubs and bars find ways to play it. But failing all that i would reccomend googling soccer streams reddit as there are always links on there. If you have a laptop you can link it to the tv by hdmi of course or like you buy a projector lead. But the phone streams they work pretty well if you're desperate.

Big day today, wire vs hull and then united vs hull straight after. My wifey is thrilled there's so much sport on. Think similar lineup to last game, although could see one of Smalling, Lingard or Mkhitaryan starting today. Think we should win this 3 nil as don't see Hull being able to stop us.

The English run bars are probably using Sky boxes, you can get them here, cost a lot though.
I have SFR, I can watch it on my tablet, the quality isn't bad but I've kind of gotten used to watching matchs on the actual TV.

    This is fecking scandalous!

Why give the contract to a channel that no one can watch?

To be fair you could only watch Canal+ if you were a subscriber as well. The thing is C+ is available to anyone who wants to subscribe, all of the outlets diffuse it to those who don't mind paying; SFR is unavaible on "classic" TV to a sizeable proportion of the population.

What about watching in pubs and bars?

Does my advice still stand, except substituting Canal + Sport for SFR Sport 1?

I've got Mkhitaryan over Mata. Everyone else the same but I have a feeling Mkhitaryan won't start until Rooney is dropped. Bonkers.

    2-1 to United. Zlatan x2
Same here. Although maybe I'll change it. Mata deserves to stay in the team but Mkhitaryan proved he deserves a start also. Hoping Rooney will be dropped out be doubt it.

They just give it to anyone who pays the most, it's the same here. In our biggest cities more than half people can't watch PL on TV because only one cable TV has Sportklub(channel that bought PL rights) and you have at least three or four different cable providers in every city and most of people are under big contracts. Yet, in smaller places where that big cable company doesn't have access some small cable companies are allowed to have that Sportklub channel, so you are likely to watch PL on TV in some country side than in Sarajevo for example.

Canal was available to anyone who wanted to pay for it, every means of TV access had Canal as an option. With SFR it's only available to those who have the SFR telephone/mobile system in some way and then only half of them because of technical issues.
It's becoming a bit of a national scandal, well in a minor way anyhow. There is no SFR access to satellite clients, nor by the national TNT networks, only if you can watch SFR TV through a decoder box and then that's not for everyone.

Mou might have originally planned to play Smalling alongside 1 of the 2 but unfortunately for him he got injured and the players who came in for him have so far delivered which means he'll still have to wait, and if this carries on he isn't likely to displace neither.

Sorry for my ignorance but I'm abroad in Switzerland and would like to watch this evening's match on replay without knowing the score as I won't be able to watch it live. Is there any easy way for me to do this online?

Failing that, just watching a replay would be fine too.

I think (hope) Rashford will start right away against Feyernoord. Don't see the point of Mourinho tiring Ibrahimovic just three days before Watford away.

Cannot wait for this, it's been 8 long days!

I think this will be a difficult one. Hull have confidence from their first two wins and it's a bad time to play them since there isn't any fixture congestion yet so they haven't been punished for having only 13 fit senior players. Nonetheless you'd fully expect us to get the job done as long as we're not complacent. I've gone with the same lineup that started against Southampton.

    Hull 0-2 United.

Looking forward to this more than in the past three season and we should win quite easily, even if they have started with two wins. But not going to jinx it with a prediction!

Thanks. Might do that. Wondering if the Caf uploads streams of matches?
If you're living in Germany, Switzerland or Austria I would take it for longer. Only 10 € a month without a contract and you're able to watch a lot of sports in very good quality frome everywhere with Internet connection. Sky is a joke compared to that. So happy, that DAZN got those TV rights, Sky was terrible in Germany, showing only 3 games a week, so was not able to watch United regularly.

Love our new team, can't wait for the match...

    Indeed.
I don't understand the sentiment being shown towards Smalling.
He is a good defender, but definitely not good enough to displace a duo (Blind/Baily), unless the current duo mess up and force Jose's hand.

DDG, Ibra, Pogba are our Galactico class players who can displace all other players in their position.
Unfortunately, Rooney (though not a Galactico) can also displace any other player in his position.

There also seems to be some sentiment being shown towards Bastian, which is bizarre. He has done nothing of note for us, why are some fans getting sentimental about this guy?

Exactly. I'm having to sit through the Spurs / Liverpool game just to pass the time away. 5 more fecking hours! :(
