Defending against 10 men Mourinho out
    Oh come off it!

That had nothing to do with Mourinho. Absolute disgrace the way the boys played. How many chances must you get to kill off a game? What a shame! Lingard, Martial, Rashford. Those were CLEAR chances.

One of them days. It was a good game away from home... it happens.
    lol

Anyone with a tiny ounce of a brain would ask Smalling to step aside, play 10 v 10 for final minutes. Quit being that optimistic bitch of a fan to justify this result to yourself.

Livid, absolutely livid, bloody useless. We can't keep sitting back we're not good enough to see matches out.

Second time in a week this at least it don't hurt as much as last time. I thought we played well today though in the second half. We need to be much more clinical though with the chances we get.

he's evolving into Danny Welbeck. or perhaps devolving would be more appropriate.
Rashford just looks like he can’t be arsed. Like an arrogant little prick. He needs a talking to.

Defense is still abysmal. Ball watching while Vardy runs down the field to get the pass and scores. Pathetic defending on the last goal. The finishing was embarrassing except for Mata. Lindgard, Martial, Rashford??? How can professional players be that piss poor on their touch?? The only positives were a slightly better Lukaku and Pogba. We might as well concede to City now.

Mourinho can feck off as well. If he can't get 11 men to keep the ball against 10 with a goal lead.

    I'm done. Mourinho out.

Casper got a touch. I think if ref was at a different angle he could have given it.

I don’t think the slight touch was enough to justify the non-call. The keeper didn’t push the ball out of harm’s way whatsoever. Rashford was still clean through, and was brought down. We’re obviously not on the pitch, but it seemed an obvious call to me.

Regardless, we just absolutely pissed two points away. Incredibly disappointing.

I know we weren't going to catch City but keeping 2nd now seems like quite a job.

    Just a madcap last 5mins.
Storming forward like me were desperate for a goal, then screwing it up and letting them break.

The Rashford move when we had two guys sprinting through, where he held it, that was odd.
As was Matic and Pogba giving it away on the edge.

Probably not too damaging bearing in mind the title is long gone, but still a disappointing pointless throwaway of 2 points.

Chris Smalling hobbling around at the back. No one had the wisdom to get him out of there entirely. Just push him up front.

Martial's miss was unlike him, very shocked.

Lingard was far too casual, seemed to be thinking about his celebration and getting ready to sprint off.

Rashford, should have laid in an open Lukaku or taken it to the corner flag.

    So frustrating

I am absolutely fed up. Get rid the whole lot of them. The problem with Rashford is that all this british media touting him as the best forward in England has gone to his head.

I'm sick of our team. The way we concede those goals, the way we are not controlling our games, the way we miss our big fecking chances. Disgrace. I'm ashamed again. We don't deserve to win the league and I'm afraid we won't finish as a runner-up. It's hard to say we'll win any cup this year. Players need to step up and know for which club are they playing.

Smalling and Jones were fecking at fault for that.

Martial missing an absolute sitter was always gonna come back to haunt us.

Lingard was purely unlucky and Rashford should have had a pen.

Mourinho should never have substituted Lingard and Mata. Our two best players today.

    Feck this shit.
Martial at least won an important free kick almost immediately after missing that sitter.

Lingard played well overall but his chance was even an easier one to score than Martial's. Rashford was the worse; just plain awful and did nothing good. He had a very good chance and other opportunities to put it on a plate for others but somehow you managed to blame only Martial.

If I were a teammate, I'd be watching Smalling and backing him up every single chance.

But no one helped Smalling there. I blame the lack of situational awareness.

I couldn't believe what I was watching when he did that?? Lukaku was clear on goal and Rashford just stopped?? Don't get it!

Park the bus? Thats the whole problem, we kept throwing men forward and missed sitters. Park the bus would of won it for us!
Almost every one of our players were in the box for that last goal, when given the opportunity to float the ball into the box that many times, there's chance for a worldie to come into the box that could not be defended even with 11 men. First of all, a 10 men team should never have seen so much of the ball in the last few minutes. We should be bloody dominating the possession instead of fending off long balls into the box.

Can we finally put to bed any bullshite that we have a good defence, bar Bailley and Valencia those boys are woeful. No composure, no leadership and a general calamity waiting to happen. Vidic and Ferdinand were 100x the defenders this bunch of mugs are. Enjoyable game to watch though.

We're 2-1 up playing a mid-table team with 10 men and your sat on the edge of your fecking box defending like a tin pot rag arse rovers trying to hold on for a fa cup replay. What is going on?

Marital and Rashford have been hopeless they missed golden chances.

DDG- Probably could of done better for both goals but I can't criticise him he's been outstanding.

Lukaku- His link up play was outstanding and he made great runs and got no service but that won't stop him getting hate.

Lingard- Was quite good but missed a sitter

    Mata- Superb

    The rest- meh

Just where is the leadership either from the bench or from the other players on the bitch to recognise that our CB is injured and we need to fix up something very f*cking quickly because we're getting pressed.

The table doesn't lie we're a million miles away from City. A million miles away. Luckily Arsenal, 'Pool and Chelsea dropped points so that's good for our top 4 quest.

    God i'm upset.

Why did Rashford even allow it to get to that. He was one v one with goalie with about 6 yards in between them. Why take the ball close to the goalie and try to go round him? That’s absolutely disgraceful.

Mourinho can see the limitations of some of those players. Matic and Pogba provided a platform for the forwards to win the game and they failed to do so.

Great to see Mata influence a game. I hope he can maintain this level of performance because he OWES the club much more than his recent performances.

    Martial is a joke.

You’re not wrong but for me I think Rashford is more valuable to the club than Martial is. He’s the Golden Boy. The future. Whatever you wanna call it.

Martial time and time again just doesn’t look like a Mourinho player. He isn’t making a good case for himself by missing those. He isn’t a traditional winger like United are used to. In a way it’s hurting Lukaku cause he’s starved of service.... If we had a Perisic or even a Zaha in place of Martial, we would be much better off cause it would fit the system. Lukaku would get on the end of more crosses and we would win more as a result.

I just don't get it. Regularly after tumescent 1-0 home wins I come on here only to be shocked by how positive everybody is. Tonight United were utterly dominant but finished badly only to be caught by a sucker punch. Sickening and disappointing yes and results are the most important thing but the performance was one of the best we've seen this season. I am a serial pessimist and ridiculously pessimistic and critical normally but united got me off my seat tonight throughout that game.

It is wonderful if it works out, rounding the keeper. But Schmicels are usually very good one was one.

Depends on what do you mean by "performance". People are fuming that our performance after being a player up has been shite, while subs killed us altogether. Parking a bmw isetta while against a team that is a man down is not the brightest idea. Also, not being able to withstand any sort of pressure is an indication of how far we are when it comes to collective "performance".

Absolutely disgraceful that we don't have proper full backs. We are Manchester United ffs. Mourinho, what are you doing. No proper full backs, a 2 man midfield, knowing Leicester will crowd the midfield and play on the break.

A complete and utter Joke. No proper full backs against 2 top wingers. Playing into their hands with a 2 man midfield. I give up.
