Though wouldn't be surprised to see Pogba start, he's been good. Would be a huge win. Kind of pessimistic for this though, we never carry on good runs for long enough.
This would be the kind of game Pogba Can come of the bench and make a difference.

I wonder if our approach will be the same or similar (due to players availability) to the City game.

It's safe approach with small chances to nick a win. Would be disappointing if we go that way but I'm seeing posts here that are willing to accept outcome of draw.

I know United have a habit of conceding first in away games this season but this is one game to avoid that habit.

When Leicester leads 1-0 at home they win 91% of their home games.

In comparison when Leicester are 0-1 down they win 9% of their home games.

Team picks itself if all fit for a tough away match:

    DDG

    AWB
    Lindelof
    Maguire
    Shaw

    Fred
    McT

    Greenwood
    Bruno
    Rashford

    Martial

Tuanzebe and Pogba to start in place of AWB and McT if fitness issues.

Groin strain. Just like hammies, need careful management. He could be one if those who’s a quick healer though
Do we know it was a serious strain or just a tweak?

yeah I had a proper groin strain from playing footy a few years ago. took me a good 2 weeks before I could just jog again comfortably.

Got to be Bruno and Pogba in the XI. It's clear we're a completely different proposition going forward when the creative impetus is not solely on a single player.

On the positive, he walked off and sat in the stands. He looked fine afterwards but it’s 24hrs that we tend to know. We have cover in his position. We can use Fred with Bruno and Pogba and go with 3 up front or s similar system to the Everton game.

Either way, we can cover him

Sure, its just annoying given his world class performance vs Leeds; that form and confidence would be very useful vs a formidable Leicester midfield.

I'm sure similar thoughts crossed Mourinho's mind before the game.
This forum is known for drastic overestimation of opposition. The reality is, that we are by far a better team than Leicester, and we have won how many away games in a row in England?

    Subs: pogba, Greenwood James.

    result: 1-2. (Cavani, Bruno).
This is the perfect lineup for this game. Fred and Mctominay will frustrate the hell out of them and our front four will be tough to deal with.

This game will determine if we are title challengers or not IMO. We need to win this . Be tough though they will set up to counter even at home so we need Fred/Mctominay in there as we can’t be giving Vardy or Maddison any space whatsoever.

I think we might scrap it but this is what happens to this club for the last 7-8 years we start playing well then get a reality check.

Don't get me wrong, I think we're better and hope we win. It's just that in football it's not always what makes the most sense that happens.

but it’s not the reason to lowball our own team and to be scared of mere Leicester.

We have good form, we rotated heavily, we don’t have injury problems (maybe McTominay, but he can be replaced), we play away (good thing for us this season)...There are simply no objective reasons to be afraid ahead of this game.

I'm not afraid, just acknowledging that it's not a given. Leicester are a great counterattacking team and have the players to exploit opponents that commit bodies (which I don't think Ole will) forward. I really hope we start strong.

Leeds and Everton aren’t significantly weak IMO we’ve just played to our strengths
Still need one or two to step up but it looks like it’s gelling
Not significantly weak, but presumably weaker than us. Not PSG or City.

I know we joke about “Ole’s first real test” malarkey - but I’ve only just realised the magnitude a win would be here on Saturday.

We win this, and it’s safe to say we’re in our first proper title race for almost a decade. I know we came second to City with Jose, but City was miles ahead that it wasn’t really a title race.

It feels absolutely alien to me to be a win away to be able to say we’re in a title race. It’s not “too early” to say that as well. We’d be almost half way into the season - and typically you get a good idea at this stage who’s in the running.

PSG are so overrated on the caf. They are in disarray and if we’d got our game pkk look am right and finishing boots, that was a comfortable win.

We haven't won a single 'big game' in the league this season. Hopefully we can beat Leicester to start this

We just need to mark Vardy and ensure he doesn’t get chances. He is by far their biggest goal threat.

If we don’t beat them, we don’t deserve to challenge for the title.
What an odd statement. What if we draw it and win all our games for the rest of our games, would the title be undeserved?

It's like Liverpool going into the Fulham game saying if we don't beat these we don't deserve to challenge for the title.

There's certainly worse games to drop points than Leicester away.

Winning puts us sole 2nd so yes, important game. The win would also have the benefit of confusing the media and force the opposition teams to fear us like they never did in the last 8 years. That’s the real battle we need to win.

B-but I thought we're suppose to be great vs the big boys? Ole's tactical master class?

    United 1-6 Spurs
    United 0-0 Chelsea
    United 0-1 Arsenal
    United 0-0 City
They fear us now, hence City, Chelsea, Arsenal setting to hyper defensive, but I guess we will up the fitness and intensity to overcome that. When you try to undermine the season without providing the context of the Spurs game with the preseason, there’s not much to discuss. Enjoy the win if we beat Leicester and stop worrying about the rest, the physical side of the team is building up slowly but surely.

we seem to fare well against Leicester, bar the odd slip up. Im feeling confident we can beat anyone away in the league. 0-3 Utd.

I had one too. Took me about 3 months to heal completely. About a few weeks I was able to play but it hurt again.

But this is professional football so I hope much sooner for McT. Poor lad.

Tough game ahead of us, obviously, plus we can't go on winning every away game forever, but if we win this we have two easier match ups against Wolves and Villa and a great chance to travel to Liverpool with a massive boost.

Not sure if people are afraid. But rather they're more like being sensible and wary of the threats.

We know how our defense are and the need to have protection from Fred-McT.
We know how good Leicester attacks can be and especially Vardy, plus the fact that they beat Spurs last game so they're in good confidence facing us.

Expecting AWB and McT to miss this game. Vardy is confirmed fit.

I'm sure we'll be fine, we are in good winning run but undoubtedly our midfield is the only worrying thing.
Time for the players to step-up! Expecting a tough game.
