I don’t think you can have much issue with the defence this match. Vardy’s goal is fantastic movement and apart from that they never looked like scoring.
Actually their second goal is where good focused defenders could have done something. Their first goal was rather unstoppable.

Rashford should’ve had an easy hattrick and killed the game early. Lack of ruthlessness is a problem again. And midfielders at fault got both LC goals being sloppy with the ball.
Too many times now this has proven itself. Ole has to be ruthless and rifle through the scouting archives to decide upon our next CF.

And then he needs to continue the clear out.

    James out
    Martial reduced to WF performances

Well be out of the top four by end of the weekend. How fast you can fall down the table this season. Liverpool will win this league by at least 20 points I'd wager.
they have won 1 more game than us. So how great are they really.

Poor result. Well be 7 points behind Liverpool by tomorrow night and probably in 6th.

Then again I would snap your hand off for 4th place now. Like start of season Im still not sure we will get that. Our defence is terrible and we are also too wasteful in other areas.
The defence is awful, yet we keep clamouring for midfielders and attackers. I am sure the main problem is this 'play it from the back' philosophy that the players we have, have no idea how to implement. Schmeichel played it from the back all the time, but it was never 5 yard passes that could put him back in trouble.

The shot was good but the goal was pretty stoppable by better defending. Scott let him have a free shot.

They have won one more and lost two less all with half their team missing so far. Let's just see he point at the end of the season, Bruno can't keep carrying us week in week out.

their first goal was completely stoppable.

Neither Fred, nor Maguire took control on winning the ball back
    Fernandes messed about
Nobody (fault on McTominay’s shoulders) closed Barnes down
De Gea should have done better.

4 things there in 30 seconds that stop that goal. 2 stop the shot chance completely

I don't talk about football at parties so I'm fine thanks.

Just a realist, we have done great since Bruno arrived but it won't continue especially when we concede goals for fun. As for the table, look at it and the games to be played, I haven't suggested anything far fetched.

And what reason can you give me that it can’t continue?

11 months now of continued results with Bruno in the team. 2nd best team over that period.

If you’re a realist, Liverpool shouldn’t be in your thoughts because we aren’t ever going to be title contenders.

    Very frustrating, we should’ve won.

I don’t think the defence is reliable enough to make a serious title challenge this season but we’re moving in the right direction.

    Bruno’s stats though.

I have never for one second believed this team can win the league and by stating how far away Liverpool will be from second (in my opinion) is saying how far the gulf is between them and the rest. Maybe City can recover some form and start picking up points. I predicted us finishing 5th or 6th before season started so I will be chuffed if we get top 4.

As for Bruno he is not getting enough rest and if he has to play every single game, the risk of injury and a drop off in performance will increase. Maybe we are lucky and he can do it but I highly doubt it. Take him out this team long term and we won't be 2nd in that "since Bruno" table for long.

Let's hope we beat Wolves next at OT to show this is just a blip and potentially a good point gained away from home.

    ‘Blip’???

no you’ve definitely lost me now.

Its one game against the team second in the league who we should 100% have beaten.

So sorry I have lost you. You can happily ignore.

You need to send me the rules of when I can use the word blip. I thought it apt considering the run we were on especially with the 10 away wins in a row.

I dont care how good Leicester are nowadays. The fact United is on the same level as them is fecking tragic.
The fact that we're on the same level as the second best team in the league??

Just cause they are second doesn't make them the 2nd best team in the league. By that logic you are saying Leicester are better than City, Chelsea and Spurs

A missed opportunity but probably a fair result, our comedy defending will cost us over a season. What were Fred and Bailly doing for that handball. Fred did well in midfield and worked hard, we would be lost without Fernandes.

Stop talking rubbish. It’s apparently tragic we’re on the same level as Leicester because they’re 2nd in the league but the fact they’re 2nd in the league means nothing? Or are you saying it’s tragic we’re drawing to them in a one off game when they’ve got a great record at home to top teams? Whatever angle it’s nonsense.

I felt McTominay was a bit lazy in his press before the first one. He could have done more to block him from shooting.

League position never lies, Leicester have more points than City, Chelsea and Spirs so how do hou suggest we measure better? Based on your and others opinion?

Younare saying that for those titles we won we were not the best team?

I have no idea what you're talking about, but good on you for getting your point "proven"...
The keeper gambled 1 side that was open, it went across the so called closed side and wrong footed him for a simple goal to concede.

I just watched the highlights. That was exactly what he shouldn't have done. From the angle (exact opposite of the one De Gea let in) he should be cheating to his left a little as the defender is taking away the right side. For some reason he cheats to his right which made absolutely no sense (may have been because his defender was screening him so he's trying to find that ball). He should be cheating to his left. You can't compare this to De Gea. De Gea should have been cheating to his right. If De Gea did the same as the Wolves keeper he would be cheating to his left which again, is the exact opposite of what he should have been doing

You just explained the opposite of what he did. He did exactly the same thing De Gea did, just on the opposite side, but with the same result.

He tried to prioritize the center of goal that was already covered, ignoring the obvious route to the near post. Predictably, the ball didn't go to the center of goal, and beat him at the near post instead - exactly what happened to De Gea as well.

    Poor goalkeeping from both.
