Exactly. Martial played poorly and has had an underwhelming season in general. Zlatan has scored 26 goals. Yet people will be quick to blame Zlatan for this draw because he missed a penalty.

He missed 2 other chances where he could have finished better and we would have been up 3-0 before half-time. He has been good for us I agree but he has bottled many chances, if he had put away those chances we would have been in top 4 currently.

Without his goals and assists we would have been 15th or 18th currently.

absolutely shite today, horrible horrible performance, I an fecking fuming at that game , the ref was a complete and utter idiot missed 3 red cards. United in the second half were the worst I have seen them ever play.
We showed nothing today , nothing that makes me think they want to get top 4.
Pogba and Zlatan WTF were they doing today, both should be fined a weeks wages.
They couldn't score against 10 men with 11 men, do you seriously think they would have scored with 10 men against 9 men? They don't deserve top 4 tbh.

Yeah I agree we would have been outside of top 10 if it wasn't for Zlatan, I was just frustrated cause everytime the teams above us drop points we also drop points and feck it up.

He is overrated a lot by juventus.
Good Pogba is pretty handy, Bad Pogba is like playing with 10 men. It's nothing new really, still he's not all that old and consistency might be just around the corner. Think he may have difficulty in psyching gimself up for what he sees as minor matches.

Ah well. I had us down for a 5 nil win. As a pundit I obviously suck. Never mind onwards and upwards. At least we kept the undefeated run going. Pity that fate conspired to give one or two of our players an 'off' day. I'm firmly in the camp that deplores the way some folk are going overboard to criticise certain players. Bad days at the office happen.;)
Some blame must also go to Bournemouth for their thuggish and brutish style of play. It hardly does the English game any good when teams play like that, stamping on people and just generally being hooligans

So far away I get up 4am to just watch Utd on TV
    Am almost at a loss for words;
    Cant believe
    we lost (seemed like one!)
didn't score 3 in first half
    Boruc stood on his head
    Pogba was so poor
Whole team played like shite in the 2nd half
When Martial, Rashford & Lingard play together they are so awful
Rojo & Jones were so bad
How much we miss Herrera's energy
    Ibra missed the pen
    Mkhi is still injured

... and so much more :houllier::(

Laughable comment really. Please calm down. And remember that last week Zlatan single handedly blitzed Southampton and won us a cup final. He has also scored 26 goals this season. He is allowed to have a bad game. Docking him a week's wages, come off it. Zlatan and Pogba get so much flak for everything. Yet Martial (who was shite) and Rashford (who was shite) have absolutely no responsibility whatsoever? What is this. If anything you'd want Martial and Rashford to take weight off Zlatan. He has carried the team this season and should win the PFA POTY.
Well this is a straw man as I am not saying Zlatan has to be sold but to anyone who can call a spade a spade today he just was not at the races and it cost us big time. I think Pogba is a very talented midfielder even if not quite the finished product but the fans make a lot of excuses for him just because he is the shiny new toy that people now feel has to be defended at any cost. He earned the envy of most United fans because of his highlight reel moments in a league that affords time to players in general and also by playing in a midfield with 3 other players like Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio that afforded him a lot of freedom unlike here. as yet he has been found wanting here in all the big moments which I hope changes.

If Zlatan does get banned it will mean Pogba will have to vary his game-far too many times he looks for the killer ball to Zlatan-absolutely stunning when it works but I would love to see him playing first time balls for Rashford and Martial.

Just some utterly embarrassing posts. Sadly these are indicative of the half witted mentality of many a fan. Especially the internet key board warriors. Those fans who'll "get it out for a wank" after some champagne football, and start a thread on why player xyz is maybe the best in the world, but be ready to write the same player off - amid a cascade of abuse - for one poor performance.

People have alarmingly short memories. Think a home draw today is poor? Try thinking where we'd be this season without the much maligned Pogba and Ibrahimovich. Probably 10th, and out of the cups, that's where. So instead of frothing at the mouth like a bunch of hyper emotional 11 year olds, maybe try engaging your brains and acting like grown men. Or have a lie down, or something.

The Match Day thread, is the seventh circle of hell.
you've got to be fecking kidding me with this absolute car crash of a post that reads more like just a bot response arguing straw mans and putting words in people's mouths.

OK, let's give this a go mate, I'll stick to the original content:
    It's not exactly a haiku but …

I'm gobsmacked … at a loss for words.
What a steaming bunch of turds!

I simply can't believe we "lost"
or start to calculate the cost …

… of 14 league points dropped at home.
    FFS that's just draws alone!

Another draw? Seems like a loss, but
do our players give a toss?

We started well to tell the truth
I thought we'd put 3 through the roof

of their net, but who'd have guessed
with Zlatan's head the Cherries messed?

The filthy stamp by crafty Minger
got Ibra hotter than a Zinger!

The keeper curse then raised it's head
we should've put the game to bed.

Zlatan had a spot kick saved
while in his head the devil's raved!

Young King Artur blocked the shot
a point went back to Camelot!

    And yet again another goalie
has a Worldie day at OT?

Pogba really had a stinker, but
mention fees and you're a winker ;) (see what I did there)

When he's affected in the head
    bring on someone else instead?

We played an awful second half
and Jose's subs were just a laugh.

Has Zlatan really got a clause
that might make Jose take a pause

before he subs the giant off
in any game? If so feck off!

We missed the guile and energy
of Ander and well, feck me …

    … we really missed Mkhitayrian
    get well soon mate
('cause not everything has to rhyme)
