We'll lose. The sad thing is Chelsea won't even have to play that well to beat us.

    De Gea
    Darmian--Bailly--Rojo--Shaw
    Herrera--Pogba--Fellaini
    Mkhitaryan--Ibrahimovic--Martial

Rashford deserves to start but I want to keep him fresh for the return leg.

End of the 'unbeaten run' that sounds so much more impressive than it actually is...

    ------------------DDG--------------------
    Valencia----Bailly----Rojo-------Shaw
    ----------------Carrick--------------
    ---------Herrera-------Pogba-------
    Mkhitaryan--------------------Rashford
    ---------------Zlatan---------------

SUBS - Fellaini (Carrick), Martial (Rashford), Lingard (Mkhitaryan)

    Man United 1 - 2 Chelsea
    Zlatan-------------Hazard x 2

Yeah, this isn't going to be pretty. Expect a defensive setup with Fellaini in the middle.

Well, our home form is not great, the players look nervous at OT. I'm presuming we are the underdogs so perhaps that might help a bit! I'm really trying to be positive, but just keeping thinking 'please don't thrash us 4-0'!!

I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 at the back with Fosu Mensah getting a run out. That might have been the reason Jose gave him a few - admittedly, only a few - minutes

We'll probably only have two fit CB's, so matching the three at the back is probably not happening. I'd want us to play Shaw, but it'll most likely be Blind at Left Back. Herrera will play, maybe Fellaini too...

    de Gea
    Valencia Bailly Rojo Blind
    Herrera Fellaini Pogba
    Mkhitaryan Ibrahimovic Lingard

Draw all over it. Think Chelsea will take the lead, Jose will react with Rashford/Martial coming on and we'll get the equalizer.

    Carrick
    Pogba Herrera
    Mkhitaryan---------Rashford
    Zlatan
I think that would be your best formation.
I can't predict this one though think it will be close, you don't lose many at home.

I think we should rest a few players.

Will probably end in a draw. 1-1.

    They wont hammer us.

How apt, Chelsea were the last team to beat Utd and will end the unbeaten run.
Expecting a loss, hopefully not as humiliating as last time.
We lost 1-0 at Stamford Bridge thanks to a poor refereeing decision, and a missed sitter. We played better than them until we had a man sent off. The margins are slim. If anything, the pressure is on Chelsea, because if they drop points, Spurs will be hot on their heels. We may not be great at winning at home, but we are extremely tough to beat and have been unbeaten for a very long time. It is very unlikely that they will beat us at home. I believe we will edge it 3-1 with Zlatan putting in a storming performance.

No outcome would surprise me, save for a convincing win for either side. A draw seems like the most likely possibility. Of course for us, a draw isn't a good result, because we've put ourselves in that position.

A win ties the league up for Chelsea IMO, a loss doesnt really affect them as they can still afford 3 defeats and still be top unless Spurs win every single game.

The match is more important to Utd if you ask me, finishing outside the top 4 is a failure for Jose given the money he throws around

1-0 in the cup though, in the league it was men against boys. They literally made fools of the players. Of all the teams in the league who could end this unbeaten run, Chelsea are 1. Along with Spurs and City.

It'll be tough, I believe they are generally a better side man for man... but the home advantage may count

I can't see us winning this by any means . Our attack is struggling to score in each game and our midfield is a liabilty in defense bar Hererra . Add to this our horrible record against them all these previous years .

    I'll take a draw . A loss is what's expected , though.

We are going to batter them at Old Trafford, they don't stand a chance. 1-1.

To be fair, whilst we struggle to put teams away, we're pretty damn good at not losing. I can't see them strolling through us in first gear.

We'll give them a game, but whether or not we can put the ball in the net ourselves is another question.

We've conceded 12 goals in 21 since the Chelsea battering, while scoring 33 (1.57 GS / 0.57 GA). Compare that to 1.63 GS / 1.0 GA in the 8 matches before. Our scoring rate has been consistent all season - i.e. not particularly good - but we've strengthened defensively. Don't think that will change much against Chelsea. 1-1 it is.

That is how I see it. Could go either way or a draw yet for sure Utd will compete.

I'm going against the grain, fancy us to win this one. Felt we raised our game in the cup game and had it not been for the daft sending off think we'd have got something.

I think we'll be set up to stifle them and Poggers to prove the doubters wrong by turning in a performance and slamming a 25 yarder past Courtois!

It's funny I think Pogba has been poor this season yet I could also see him scoring a magnificent goal against us.

All we need to be is fearless, have that killer instinct that we had under SAF. We play cowardly with just a teeney tiny but of pressure. We are actually a very good team side if you ignore that crucial part.

Just blast some Rammstein in the dressing-room before the game, that oughta do it.
