There's still enough time to turn this around unless we keep fecking up like the first half.

Bad as Lingard is, that’s amongst his worst work in that first 45. Ruined attack after attack.

You could just tell our midfield would struggle to control the game when they're up against formidable opponents like Tom Davies and Mason Holgate. Pogba's return cannot come soon enough.

Another weird VAR decision. The goal should always have been disallowed. But we're typical shit again. Just put Greenwood on, and feck it

when teams sits deep, our players seem to prefer to play it safe, passing left, right and backwards. Back to our old ways.

Lingard shite, Lindelof switching off, Shaw abysmal, VAR continues to be a joke in the PL, we keep being shit against shit opposition. Show some fecking balls in the second half!

I didn’t think it was a foul, it would have been very soft had it been given. Incredibly weak from DDG
De Gea is looking at the ball flying in, then has an arm in his face that either turns his head away from the ball physically or forces him to move his head away (or should he risk a broken jaw just to be able to see the ball?) which is followed by him missing the ball. How is that allowed? You're not allowed to elbow someone in the head in football, and keepers get those calls 999 times out of 1000, but not today, for some reason.

Maybe it only met the clear and not the obvious criterion

Such a shit goal to concede, De Gea was terrible even if he could've got the foul and Lindelof has to anticipate that a lot better, really poor.

We need brand new midfield. Fred and McT are solid but nothing more, we are desperate for quality on the ball.

Any slight contact or putting the keeper off the foul is given and goal immediately ruled out but hell they can't do that when plucky Everton get one at OT.

Should have been a foul but come on De Gea. You have to be strong and punch with 2 hands. Absolutely brutal. If I'm a manager on an opposing team I put inswingers on every corner kick. It's no secret that De Gea has absolutely no command of his 6 yard box...

Abysmal first half, but that was a foul on De Gea. Need to change something at half time, Greenwood for James would be a good start.

Started ok for 10 -15 minutes but faded badly and looked just like the struggling team we have been most of this season for the last last 25 minutes.
Why the hell cant we play with the same desire and pace we do against bigger teams. Its like we play slow ponderous build ups and hope a chance may pop up... 4 out of 10,s all over the pitch atm

Lady luck has turned against us. Big moment for Ole and the players to win against bad luck. Win this one and we will gain huge momentum during the most difficult time of the season.

I think we can turn this around, but Jesus, we need to start passing and moving better.
Lingard should have had us up in the first minute, since when he's reverted to type....nothing player.

It's a foul for me but the team needs to counter Everton's energy now. Ole needs to destroy something in the locker room, wake them up a la AZ, we need to find back a link up in the middle of the field and create space for shooting positions.

I’d probably like to see Greenwood and Williams come on soon.
We shouldn’t be a goal down, but Shaw looks really off the pace, but then I don’t really like him so maybe I’m biased.
We need to match their effort and we’ll be fine.

A fixture in which motivation and focus must be instilled by the manager and this is once again the result. He can't get them up unless the fixture itself provides motivation.

Lingard should be off and out of this club. He is a hopeless passenger at this stage and just using up a squad space. I cannot believe the simple passes he has fecked up, the simple through ball which is basically overhit massively, and his awful touch. I cannot see the point of that guy.

Bad personal situation or not, I wish never to see him play for United again.
I knew when he missed the chance inside 20 seconds this game wasn't going to go well

(Well given Chelsea's result I suspect we all thought before the game it wasn't going to go well but that just confirmed it)

Same cycles of play down the left with Maguire, Shaw, Fred and Rashford. It’s not working....let’s keep doing it!! Madness. Lingard basically played as a striker. Should have come back more to help out and provide more options

far too slow getting the ball forward. Hopefully a much better performance in the next 45.

cant see this Everton team with a crazy DF on the sidelines rolling over.

like to see James more involved. Few runs at a 35yr old Baines

Lingard is offering nothing in attack. But it’s either him or Pereira, so...

De Gea could’ve done better but when someone has a run up on you and does that it’s near impossible to push them back. Foul all day.

How is Ole at fault for any of this?

We missed three decent chances to open the scoring and Everton took advantage of that.
That was a chain of bad defending that resulted in that goal. No idea how Ole is at fault for that, they have barely threatened.

Still, the attackers need to get on the ball, and for that the midfield needs to do better. Once again the lack technical ability is exposed in that area when teams sit back.

Get Greenwood on for Lingard and try Martial in the hole. We are behind to a team that came in to defend we don't need a defensive 10.

De Gea is the major reason we concede so many goals from set pieces.

He's terrible coming off his line.

Shaw has been appalling, his terrible "clearance" led to the corner which led to the goal.

Lingard has been his usual utterly hopeless self. Get him off now.

Get Williams on for Shaw ,we will have some attacking impetus. Shaw needs to be shaped out of the club.
