You could tell Martial was cringing and thinking "only way you two would get near a pussy if you didn't play football would be adopting a cat" when they did that celebration. Looks fecking silly.

I was going to go for a piss but we've got Michael Owen AND Owen Hargreaves with the half time analysis? I'm going nowhere.

Course it was a top ball by Mata. But that's what he should do more often, and he doesn't. That's my issue with him. He flatters to deceive. One top pass over a few games, and I mean a killer pass.. it isn't enough at United. Look at his contemporaries; Silva, De Bruyne, Ozil, Hazard, Willian, Payet, Erikkson.... Mata isn't better than any of them, and that's the truth.

Carrick makes us a different team, and I don't get why he doesn't start. But I enjoy the fact that Herrera is pushing him.. that's good competition.

surely that was less pressing, and more a stupid pass that Rooney realised he could intercept.
We attacked them right away and put pressure on them to force a mistake. If you give them time and stay back, it won't happen

Rooney did well there for that goal, and what a finish from Pogba

Hope we stick another few past them, why take our feet off the gas?

It's pretty crap. Couldn't even pretend it's good. What kind of person complains when fans try to make a bit of noise? Oh, because it's whistling and not the way you'd go about it? Okay, pal.
What's wrong with a bit of silence? But seriously, I don't mind away fans getting heard. But whistling all the time? Tbh it's fecking annoying and in no way creates an atmosphere. Worse than listening to vuvuzelas. It's the same in Italy. What's wrong with singing?

Not much to complain about. Even Rooney has been ok this game, not great but much better than some of his other games this season.

Darmian was good I think, Shaw as well in general (but two mistakes).

Carrick and Mata both provide exactly what they are on the pitch to do, Lingard some great plays in tight areas.

I also think we were excellent in defense, the difference between this and the beginning of the season is notable.

Very happy for Pogba. Specially that last goal.

Lingard did well in that half in general too, a lot of purpose in his passing and movement, increased our tempo in attack a lot. The scorers really needed those goals

3-0 up at half time, the so-called defensive Man Utd. If Liverpool did this the commentators would be salivating.

Incredible how, despite having a 'defensive' manager, we have now scored 3 goals in the first half twice in a month.

The biggest impact on our team should be increased confidence. A lot of players looked tentative in that half, but all of our attackers have had moments. Should it continue that will hold us in good stead for Sunday.

Great work by rooney well done. Get a goal today and he would have gone a long way to being back in form
Although he did extremely well for the goal, I think he's been shite tbh. That Pass he made into the box before his moment was shocking.
