Relax, we battered them. We're fresh, sharp and unlucky not to be a couple of goals up. The goals will come, Hull looked like they were on their knees at half time then.

Imagine having to chase Miki, Rashford, Pogba and Valencia all game.... players at Hulls standard will last an hour tops, they're already diving in and getting booked.

Yeah sure, it's Rashfords fault that the passes end up 30m in front of him
same old story..way to much wasted chances, especially Micky. Don't wanna even imagine if it would have been Lingard

Mkhitaryan gliding with the ball is lovely to see. We're still as inefficient in chance taking as ever, but hey.

feck off with the overreactions that this is LVG football. We wouldnt even take a shot in the first half. We have been good, just end product has been lacking.

    Just gonna leave this here..
Well they were hardly gonna play open, free-flowing football against us at home were they? No surprise they've sat so deep and just invited pressure. We'll crack them.

Possible reasons Rooney has been so incredibly shit in the first half:

    1. He's trying to be like Inzaghi. He thinks that by being anonymous he'd be bound to pop up with a goal.

    2. He's been instructed to give space to Mata so the team can play proper football. He's taken that instruction to heart and stayed as far as possible from the ball.

    3. He's testing the limits of Mourinho. How shit does the captain need to play before he's subbed off. He tried for a first half sub but he's settled for a HT one.

Rooney isn't even in the game what's the point. Put Martial and Rashford up front together and let them cause havoc.

I enjoyed the half, we layed some nice stuff and Mkhi had a couple of silky runs, it's just the lack of clinical finishing has hurt us again. I'd get Martial on for the second half.

We can't win every match comfortably but it's perfectly normal to be bit worried that Hull who despite being oriented defensively are still finding it easy to create few decent chances in front of our goal. We have Liverpool next after all...

We don't look as fired up as we should. Hopefully Mourinho has a pep talk with them.

Might as well bring on Blind for Darmian if we're going to play down the left all the time.

Mata was good early on, Mkhi should have taken two chances he laid on (definitely that first one).
At least Mkhi is trying to make something happen all the time.

That's the thing with Mata, he'll have a spell of 10 minutes every game where he looks like scoring, linking up with Valencia down the channel and working hard, then complete disappearing act for 35 minutes. Annoys the shit out of me because everyone knows he can do better.

Mkhitaryan was coming to the boil at the end of the half with a couple of fantastic runs.

Rashford needs to up his game in the second half and Darmian needs to be subbed.

This is exactly what I was worried about.

With Rooney upfront in a two-striker formation we are not really threatening much.

    Rashford has also been disappointing.

This is why we should have started with Martial instead of Rooney.

Poor 1st half. We need more from all our offensive players. Rashford too sloppy, Rooney invisible. Mata looked like he´d have a stormer for 10-15 minutes at the start of the game but went into hiding afterwards as well. Mkhitaryan also only seemed to bother to show up in the last few minutes.

Gonna sound weird, but were playing like we have no respect for Hull and will just score at will when we want. Its been too lax at times. Weve created chances playing with tempo. Not sure why other times we just take extra touches or jog into areas.

Saying that, we still need to work on two things
    -Set pieces
    -Hitting the damn target.

We are clueless without Carrick. It's the right decision that he was rested tonight but we look absolutely lost without him conducting our midfield.

The less said about Rooney, the better. Rashford looks lost. Only Mata & Mkhitaryan look decent and they have both conspired to miss glaring chances.

Martial should come on for Rooney. Mkhitaryan can tuck on the right or just behind Rashford. Darmian has no football brain. Surely, Shaw should be fit enough for Hull.

The 1st half has been a tad disappointing. We made Hull look like Athletico Madrid.

They're giving him all the time and space because they know he's rubbish. Right back would rather defend the space in behind against runs from Pogba and Mikhi. Which is why I would do, to be fair
What? He passed the ball to Mata for that chance in the first few minutes. Also supplied some other chances down the left too.

It's almost like Pogba is so good that every now and then he gets bored and you get those sorts of weird lethargic performances from him.

I expect him to be much better 2nd half after a talk with Jose.

Blind would've probably been better than Darmian tonight. Snodgrass can't be fecked to track back and Meyler looks really uncomfortable.

They need a kick up their arse. Weak in the final third and a bit weak at the back too. Could've easily been 1-0 down with 80% possession. The amount of times we go down or nearly do despite dominating...can't believe people think our defence is sound. Jones fairly good at times though

This full back playing on the wrong foot is not on. Darmain has to stop his run every time he receives it. And it's like we are playing without a CF. Hull's CBs have had it easy.

Yeah, he fecked off down the tunnel before the half even ended and looked livid. I bet a few Portuguese swear words are being uttered in the dressing room at the moment.
