Not that we really need any more evidence but anything less than a 3/4 - 0 victory would be the definitive sign of the players checking out and not giving a feck.

I had a dream last night and there was only a sprinkle of people in the stands for the match and thousands outside in protest.
Rashford played from the start and barely ran and was hooked after half an hour.
United were awful. Only Sancho was decent and the rest were the usual static toiling load of shit. Bruno was whining like feck and then Pukki scored leaving Maguire on his arse. I woke then thankfully :houllier:

Would not be at all surprised to see a draw here. The season is basically over for the players. They know they've nothing to really play for, the quality is not there and many know they will be looking for new clubs in the summer............. and for that reason I dont think Norwich will be at their best and will allow Utd to scrape a draw.

All joking aside, we are absolutely awful and won't win.

Anybody coming out of contract needs to be nowhere near this game - and like many others have said I’d welcome most of these arseholes being dumped in the reserves for a load of hungry kids whatever the result

Sickens me to say it but I'd rather watch the Liverpool City FA Cup game on Saturday than this non-event. I am hoping the protest is a success and more of a headline than the game. F*ck the players.

For the love of God, let's see some young players. Otherwise, this isn't worth my time.

    Time for the kids yet?
Yes, for three reasons: To give them first team time, to reward them for their work, and to take appearances away from regular first-teamers.

Frankly, I think the youth would at least put in the effort we haven't been seeing otherwise. Same reason I'd chuck Jones out there in the back line - I know he'll put in a shift.

But Rangnick isn't going to do that...

I would love to see a 442 diamond with Lindelöf in the DM position and Elanga/Rashford/Sancho as two wide forwards. Fernandez false nine.

At this point, RR should be trying some of the younger players now. He has nothing to lose!
I do agree. But I suspect his hands are tied.
I'd De Gea, Varane, Bruno Ronaldo + youth players.
The rest of the senior players simply aren't good enough.

Why are fans so fecking deluded???
A 3-0 win against any team at the moment is unthinkable. Watford, Middlesbrough, Southampton, Burnley, Newcastle, Everton….. all guaranteed wins ???? We are wank, end of!!!!
I have noticed this a lot. We keep losing and drawing, but fans seem to think that we are better than we actually are.
I concluded a while ago, that several people who post on these boards don't actually watch us play and probably don't even know our recent run of results. It wouldn't surprise me if they think that we are still reigning champs!

We lose this I think fan revolt will go into overdrive.
Nope. We lost to a wretchedly bad Everton team the other day and nothing much happened.
We may lose to Norwich, but we are going to be humiliated against Liverpool in a week or so and again, nothing will happen.
The standards are so low, that the fans are now apathetic.

This season was written off very early on and next season will also be written off (the new manager has to assess the players). The season after that will also be written off, for reasons which will be determined next year.

The Glazers won't care about protests outside the ground as long as there are 70,000+ inside the ground spending money on food, drink, programs, shirts, merch & tickets to watch the game, not attending matches at OT & having attendances of less than 5,000 instead of 70,000+ is the only way the Glazers might care & take notice of protests.

You are probably right and that’s a massive shame.

On current form we are not a top ten side so anything can happen.

A team that are actually fighting for something. Would not be surprised if we lose here as well.

Even we will struggle not to win this one. they are one of the poorest sides to have been in the PL for ages but I'm sure we'll give it a good go to make them look a mid-table side. I'd start Rashford for this one and if he fails to shine, then I'm afraid it will be time for him to go. I dread to think what Puki is going to do to Maguire...

Announcing Pogba's new 700k a week 6 year contract, then drawing 1-1 would get the crowd going.

going for a very very dull 2-0 win... although keeping clean sheet would be shock

We should win this. But you never know these days. And I hate meeting teams like this at the end of the season. They know it is last call, if they want to stay in the league.

I assure you...we will not struggle to make Norwich look like world-beaters.
This is exactly the kind of team which we usually lose to.
When we lost to Watford 4-1, weren't they bottom of the league at the time?

RR to name an unchanged side again.
Why should he change a losing team? :p

Protesters to storm the stadium resulting in the game being called off. The FA hammer us and decide that the punishment will be we swap point totals with Norwich, and they awarded a 3-0 victory, we lose the rest of the games this season and are relegated. Glazers turn around and sell the club to the Class of ‘92 who in turn turn us into Salford FC. They sell Old Trafford to developers who then turn it into a massive Lidl, which ETH comes into manage. The Caf goes ballistic. The mods run through the whole site banning everyone who dares post anything. End of the Caf, End of Man Utd. We all turn into Newcastle fans.

Either that or a 1-1 draw

Majority of people in this thread don't even think we'll beat Norwich at home.

An absolutely disastrous season. I say a draw or 2-1 for us.

Norwich have actually picked up of late. They're coming into this on the back of four points from six and they were very unlucky to lose to Leeds. They'll fancy their chances of pulling off a smash and grab, here. United will be looking to exploit that defence that has shipped 60 + goals, but two clean sheets on the bounce will have restored confidence. With Norwich it's more about the team ethic and the desire to press and press, because Pukki is probably their best player individually.

You feel that if United start badly, Norwich could really get under their skin and the boo-boys might contribute to that.

We could definitely do with ringing the changes and blooding one or two of the youngsters. Would like to see Hannibal given a go from the start.

We are that team that everyone wants to play at the moment - just no matter how bad the opposition's quality or form is, as long as they show up and put a shift in they will get at least a point. 1-1 draw

I hope RR puts out a bold team of youngsters and experiments.

If it's the same usual trash, I think I'll do something else.

    Same

At this point it would be useful to see where a few of the younger lads are at going into next season. Impress and it gives you a further option right away rather than the new manager taking half a season before he feels he can look beyond the first team.
